if i were you i would be very confident to get an offer in jan round 1, even though demand is ridiculously high (e.g. uts law went from 96 to 97.3 minimum (it hit the 98s for LSR for some law combinations there). pls update us anyways btw!!

just had a look at it, it doesn't seem contradictory?

your assessment mark (the internal 50%) will be the 17th highest hsc exam mark of your class (even if you didn't receive that mark), but whatever mark you received in the external exam will be yours for the exam mark part (external 50%). so your overall hsc mark is an average of these two...

for sure i'd say. from what i've seen atar is emphasised way more and the LAT only really affects entry by pushing those with (relatively) lower atars over the line if they did well in LAT

i received 80/100 (83rd percentile), what ATAR would you guys estimate i'd need. also surreal that hsc results come out in 24 days...

Hey everyone, just curious for those who have gotten entry for UNSW law in previous years or know people who did, what were their selection ranks and ATARs? From my understanding, LAT isn't really emphasised unless one's ATAR is on the relatively lower end it seems.

i cannot remember but i'd estimate i wrote around 7/800 words for each section. i also did it last year and wrote around the same- i got a mark of 78 so not too bad. you might be sick of hearing this but quality over quantity!! especially with the nature of the LAT- no issue at all with less...
