YPT is unmatched. Get a few friends in your group, elvated my study by probably 5 times. Makes it competitive, when you and a friend got the same exam tomorow and you see that they are locked in its hella motivating. Plus getting it to tick over 10 hours gives you the little fire above your guy 😤
I agree sm with this
I used to only get up to like 4 hrs max but now I can do 6 or more

he didn't?
he did lol.
he said it followed by "... but (something positive)"
the word "but" in a sentence indicates contrast or opposition to the prior elements in the sentence.

if you don’t realise that some people from rich private schools are knobs then you’re one of them :)

i didn’t mean it overly negative though just a comment

I hate how subjective Mod C is, get screwed over because your marker is in a bad mood. Sorta the same in all of English but especially Mod C,

guys i need serious help idk if i should appeal for this. i got dragged into a meeting about my "terrible" handwriting in my English trial and got told that i did far below my average, which I'm normally at a band 6 level. I've gotten half of it back and got 9 on my craft of writing and a 6 on my common module, but when i look at my writing the parts they haven't highlighted because it "wasn't decipherable' actually is quite readable. from an unbiased view, i can genuinely read way over half of what has not been highlighted.

apparently i cannot read back to the markers again my work so they can mark it accordingly, is there a specific policy that states this for trials? or should i get the school to flag it on some grounds (to be fair i did have a severe family death two weeks before trials where i had to become the primary caretaker for my siblings for two weeks)

no not at all, isn’t that really good for advanced maths? plus it’s the rankings that matter not the marks
it was cssa but idk if these marks will get bumped up a bit based on moderation. i fucking dropped rankings by 30 spots. main problem is i got average cause my cohort average was 60. i think im fucked tho in general idk.

QUESTION FOR CHEM STUDENTS! Do you reckon atomi is at all helpful for quick practice questions, like going over the main points efficiently? I'm combining that with looking at the actual syllabus/textbooks/practice papers of course, but I'm thinking atomi could be good as a bit of a starting point for getting back into the swing of things. Lol.

I seem to understand chemistry conceptually just fine! I'm terrible though at remembering formulae, I'm not a maths person…naturally, at least. I love the subject I'm just a bit impractical LOL

Maybe the quizzes for super quick practice questions but i only use them after watching a video just to check that I got everything

Tbh unless I knew exactly what I didn't know from the syllabus I'd rather do past paper questions. I'm not a fan of their 20 minute practice sessions either but I love their videos
