Maiden released an album 2 years ago, I dunno if they've got anything in the works now, but I don't think they're finished yet. Now if only we can get a tour sometime soon

hey asylm, i know wat u mean, but i said i liked there early stuff, ACDC's later sound went to simliar. but really if a band has to reuse its old styles it doesnt show any progression music wise. thats my opinion anyway.

I'm glad Burzum died. As much as I love the band, their [well 'his'] ambient stuff wasn't that much good, and there's no chance of Varg playing Black metal when he gets out of jail next year, so there's no point the band continuing.

What's wrong with albums that sound the same?

If I wanted to listen to an album that sounds like RATM's self-titled, then wouldn't I just listen to RATM's self-titled? What's the point of doing the same thing over and over again when you've already done it before?

That's why music is so dead now days, because everyone is just repeating what someone else did 10 years earlier and better.
