Last year, I brought in photos of ppl close to me and stuck them onto the desk...so wenever I was stuck, I'd look at them for inspiration

Ive heard u cant even take ur mobile in the exam room, ie. not even leave it at the front with the supervisors...if u know how long ur exams last, just tell ur parents an allocated time, or try and see if u can phone form the office. Want to risk ur final exams over a phone? yeah its expensive thing, but there are other ways to go without worrying abt it being taken and riskin an simple and quick 0 in an exam....

thats what they used to do, but since its an external exams, the supervisors for the hsc, who would be ppl other than ur teachers, wont take responsibility..
from BOS site...Rules and Procedures for 2003 Higher School Certificate - Conduct during examination
http://www.boardofstudies.nsw.edu.au/manuals/pdf_doc/hsc_rules_procedure_03.pdf
You must not:
(a) smoke in the examination room;
(b) eat in the examination room except as approved by the presiding officer;
(c) speak to any person other than a supervisor during an examination;
(d) behave in any way likely to disturb the work of any other student or upset the
conduct of the examination;
(e) attend an examination while under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs;
(f) take into the examination room any books, notes, this guide, the
examination timetable, any paper, or any equipment other than the
equipment listed in the examination timetable;
(g) take a mobile phone into the examination room

yeah mobiles are a big no no. apparently you can't even have it on you and have it off.

i'll be sure to bring in kleenexes, there's nothing worse than sniffing through the whole exam and disturbing everyone...but if it distracts them and helps you get a better mark - by all means.
