Justin greets Lynn and wonders what she has planned for today.

Justin finds rap, hip hop, rnb, etc lyrics awful and wishes all artists of those genres would just go away. "Long live rock" he says.

Justin is disappointed in Lynn. He shakes his head while clucking disapprovingly.

Marcus says good morning to Lynn. He is impressed that she has been taking singing lessons for 3 years! Marcus is taking classical singing lessons next year, before and after travelling! Marcus has often sung at variety night at school. Him and his friends have a little group. Marcus and his group play rock, folk and ethnic blends.

Marcus feels sorry for both your friend and the girl who was just about dumped by arriving at her formal at 11. Marcus, however, wonders how he could have gotten that mixed up.

AHH! Lynn!!

Ah well, some people just have different musical tastes.

Justin doesn't see the point in going to a formal full of people he doesn't know, to be perfectly honest. His school doesn't allow outsiders to attend.

Marcus supposes that it has to do with the excitement of meeting new people. Though, he believes that it also makes it a less wholesome kind of fun.

Lynn's planner for today:

*Lynn must have breakfast (take that, all you sticks who skip breakfast a silly Atkins-followers, CARBS RULE)
*Lynn must do some alterations for Karen who gave her garments to be altered... at the start of the year (Lynn has been studying - good excuse! )
*Lynn will then get ready to go to fashion parade

OOOH! Somewhere in all of this Lynn must call Sarah to confirm tommorrow's shopping trip to Bondi

Lynn justifies love of pop and r&B/hiphop as it is the type of music she has been dancing to for many years - if she didn't love it, she'd be in big trouble. Lynn wonders whether her love of Josh Groban and Michael Buble helps raise her music status. Lynn is also a huge fan of Gershwin and Berlin music (having performed in various musical productions including dance captaining world amatuer premiere of Hot Shoe Shuffle has introduced her to many wonderful Golden Tunes and wacky but wonderful people).

Justin respects Lynn's taste in music, though as stated above, his is very different.

Justin's own plans are very boring. He supposes he should eat at some time, have a shower, get dressed and find some way to waste time.

Lynn is not sure herself, but his explanation is valid - he had it stuck in his mind that our formal was the 14th and not the 16th (although how anyone could think of putting a formal on a Sunday is beyond me). He did, however, pay her back for the ticket

Lynn loves her singing lessons which is a midway between classical and "normal" voice lessons - she learns most of the classical techniques (inc singing without microphone) but simply does not sing opera - her singing teacher is musical theatre fan also so she often sings obscure ballads that she has never heard of, but are very beautiful.

Lynn's musical status has been raises partly

Marcus really really has to go study now. He hopes everyone has a good day. He will tell Lynn those stories he was supposed to tell last night *ashamed face*sometime this evening or on thursday.

Marcus says "Cya later Lynn and Justin!"

Lynn thinks that "eating time" is a very good pastime indeed

Lynn only just remembers that she has not said good morning yet, and apologises. "GOOD MORNING!"

Justin is not a people person and would rather spend an evening with people he knows well.

He bids Marcus farewell.

Lynn wishes Marcus all the best with study and tells him not to be worried about stories - he needs to study! lol. Good luck for exam tommorrow as well!

Marcus does not want to learn opera. In Marcus opinion, opera is too much technique with no moving melody, harmony, resonance or dissonance. It seems to him to be just one long vibrato. (Queen of the Night is an exception).

He really, really has to go now...

Justin laughs heartily and says "Study is for those who care about their marks" and strokes his chin. He then realises he should be studying.

Marcus says, "Bye!"

Lynn boots Marcus off BOS. "It's for your own good," she says.

Lynn now wonders whether Justin needs to be booted off as well. (Out of love, naturally)

Justin states that he does not, as his final exam is Society and Culture and is only two hours. In addition, he believes that the course is two years of common sense rather than hard work.

Lynn nods her head in understanding. She also wants to know how puppies are, and how much they're grown since last night. Lynn also wonders what Justin plans to do after last exam.

Justin states that the pups are very behaved today (as they were yesterday). They experienced the wide world of Justin's back yard on Sunday and enjoyed it greatly. Justin thinks they are still exhausted from that adventure. He is not sure how much they have grown, as he sees them every day and does not notice.

Justin's mum is taking him to the club for dinner. Justin plans to read a lot fo books, start writing again, as he would like to begin his expansion of his major work into novel format, and will also seek employment. Justin can't wait until it's over so he doesn't have to feel guilty doing these things.
