Amber realises that, once again, she is a loner. Hurrah! Yay for Amber! LOL
She hopes that everyone has fun talking tonight, and doubts she will be on as her dragon mother will probably prevent such things happening.
Amber may hang around a little longer, in hopes that she may witness any friend arrive in this thread - pending that miracle, Amber bids everyone a fond farewell and wishes them to have a pleasant evening posting.

Katie sees that there is no one here anymore but wishes to apologise for her abrupt exit as her friend came to drive her to school to sign out. However it was a fruitless journey as her outstanding absent notes and failure to return band/jazz music meant that she was refused signatures required to finally leave. Silly english teachers were also not there thwarting Katie's attempts to claim final freedom. She has instead spent the rest of the afternoon introducing a friend to the joys of The Rolling Stones and Gerry and the Pacemakers.

Katie would also like to state the she too is incredibly jealous of Marcus' travelling plans, and wishes him lots of fun and happiness on his travels. She sympathises with Amber and would like to offer her an e-hug as its the most she can really do at the moment *hugs* Like Amber, Katie too tries to remain cheerful even to cranky customers that yell and sometimes smell bad and knows that it can be a strain but is glad there are more people in the world who believe in the power of a smile

Lynn is sad that she missed Marcus (Lynn was catching up on posts) but wishes him all the best with study and hopes that he comes back later to fulfill his promise about telling her a story!!!

Oh, Amber is happy to have found another kindred spirit in Katie! *return hugs*

Amber is worried about signing out because she has numerous missing library books, many outstanding absentee notes and does not want to hand in her grenn student travel card (which she has been told is supposed to be returned). She fingures that she will just tell the office ladies that she has misplaced said travel card in order to retain it

Amber is very happy also that Lynn has made an appearance

ROFL. Lynn is NOT, under ANY circumstances, handing in her green train pass. Lynn has never been told to return it. Lynn thinks "accidentally-on-purpose-pretend-loosing-trainpass" is excellent idea.

Lynn wonders whether Amber would like to see Lynn's textiles major work (with Lynn in it).

Amber also thinks that Lynn is rather pretty

Amber adds a sample of her MW - it was drawings and paintings... can't remember the title, something about the transition of innocence to experience. This is piece 2/10. And no, i didnt get shortlisted for Art Express...

Amber feels that perhaps the markers were not quite so impressed LOL

Amber asks if Lynn makes a lot of her own clothes? That is something Amber has always wanted to do however, does not know how to. Plus, she does not have a sewing machine.

Lynn has often made (and/or designed) her own costumes and special occasion garments (ie in Yr 10 Lynn went absolutely ballistic and made 5 formal dresses - in one year! And only wore one!!!) but admits that she tends to buy most of her "normal" clothes as it is a lot easier to pay someone else to do all the hard work - particularly the drafting part (Lynn spend about 3-4 months drafting her textiles major work). Plus, the fabrics and patterns/colours are normally better

Lynn decides to start speaking to thin air as no-one is around.

"Dear Thin Air,

Lynn is currently in process of "trying out" hairstyles in preparation for Whitehouse Fashion Parade tommorrow. Lynn has new top and Enzo Angiolini shoes (her favourite, she is so glad Enzo makes size 5 shoes and no-one else but Lynn wants them, heeheehee) and is feeling very excited about prospect of "glamming up".

Lynn likes "glamming up" and tried on her formal dress and shoes for the billionth time about ten minutes ago. Which reminds her. She has to do her nails - and toenails! - soon so everything is nice and shiny for tommorrow."

Lynn muses and taking her mind off frivolous things, thinks about her guinea pig Angel, who is about 7 years old and has a large patch of almost-hairless skin and a suspicious-looking black mole on the almost-hairless patch that she is terrified is a sign of cancer. Lynn gave her a bath yesterday and tried to fatten her up with Cos Lettuce leaves (Lynn has sneaking suspicion Angel is blind, btw) but hmm, Lynn is somewhat worried. Her last guinea pigs were stolen (on her 11th birthday, no less, how rude) and she has never cared for elderly guinea pigs before.

Lynn KNOWS that Marcus is online, but since he hasn't posted yet, Lynn decides to openly invite him to do so.

*ashamed face*. He is excited because his book on intermediate Gadulka techniques came today! He has been practising all afternoon. He has managed to play the "grupetto" and "grace notes" techniques so far.

Lynn is impressed to know that Gadulka's still exist, let alone Marcus has proficiency in it.

Lynn wishes that she could play an instrument. Learning Piano, Mandolin and Harp is on her long-term list of things to learn

Lyn decides to be homosexual and a poet, so she gets high on pot and starts spurting out coleridge and keats in her HSC, oh and with the mandolin and learning instruments etc. she does that in retirement

Marcus: Lynn is not actually entirely sure of what a Gadulka is but has read about it occasionally in novels. Is it some kind of stringed instrument?

Joel looks around and realises he has become lost in some sort of dillusional world were people only speak of themselves in third person. Joels shall back away slowly and retreat into a corner, suggestively stroking his guitar assured of its superiority over this so called Gosomethingorotherdulka which he suspects to be some sort of stick with bottlecaps hammered into to it.

The Gadulka is a 13 stringed fiddle from Bulgaria. Marcus doubts that your guitar is any better.
