consequently... i liked him in brigett jones diary... though not as much, i agree. But in BJD2.... his angry face, just before he pushed hugh grant into the fountain was classic.
He is hot when he smiles..... but I think it's the dark, brooding look that has won him the popularity
it so weird - everything that i have seen lately has had colin firth in it. i mean i love him and i randomly watch stuff or turn on the tv and he is there. its a sign that it is meant to be for me and him?
like i keep watching p and p cos its so good,
i watched bridget jone's the other day
bjd 2 is being advertised all over
i just felt like watching what a girl wants last week - which he is in
and love actually was just on showtime
or just go to the official site (can't remember what it was but google it)
i cant believe im saying this but i really reallllly like the look of it
and i know everyone will attack me for this but new darcy > colin firth *runs*
i love it when she's screaming at him (btw, keira knightley is not half bad considering i bitched and whinged so much about the person who decided to cast her!) and saying he's the last man she could marry and his expression is priceless..then it turns sad
I watched the one from the official Working Title site, with the British voice over (much better than the american voice over) and the trailer makes it look like a historical epic, rather than a Jane Austen novel. I have mixed feelings ..... really don't want to like it because of Keira .....
I absolutely agree, anyone who hasn't seen the pride and prejudice mini series or who is looking forward to the upcoming movie is crazy. Do yourself a favour and read her novels, not for english because I know english can turn anybook bad, but for yourself- they're brilliant!
i own the book and series and love it both...i still like the look of the movie though. don't be a purist for the hell of it. the story is great and the remake looks like a decent job.
BBC version, of course, will be superior in almost all cases but just enjoy the movie for what it is
