does any one know when we have to apply for that law quota?

when do we find out if we have been accepted or rejected?

Another questions, chances of getting into law at Macq any better than that on UNSW?

thanks for your help.

You go in and pick up the form and have to hand it in sometime this sem. I would go in as soon as you can and pick up the form.

You find out if you've been accepted the start of Jan, I think.

The chances of getting into law at Macq are far better than at UNSW based on the fact that the requirements are higher at UNSW.

pwar, do you know where to pick them up from? are there any links you know of that may have information on this. (bcom - accg to comb law)

how long do we have before submitting this?

edit: the mq site does suck...none of the searches are returning relevant info (if any!)
so the good team at bos helps me out. went through similar threads last yr. is the room still W3A.531?

so, from what i heard, if i do get accepted into doing law114/104 and get pc+, i'm 'automatically' enrolled into comb law?
the hard thing is getting accepted into 114/104?

btw, could people share any stories of any failure/success stories?

yo, I nudged rob, and he gave me this answer:

1. He doesn't know when the forms will become available, although it would probably be best to ring up and find out.

2. Whilst the forms have to be handed in before the end of sem, it would be prudent to hand them in earlier.

3. If you get a pc+ in both 104 and 114, you can officially enrol in ' x / LLB', so yes, it's automatic.

4. He assumes that you get the forms from the law office.

5. Jamie is a sucess case for getting into law, with him getting (if he complains that I'm advertising his marks, I can always delete this...) a UAI of low 90s, with a GPA of high 3. (3.8 or something...) So yes, passing law is not the obstacle; getting into the quota is.

How about you don't lament about what coulda, shoulda or woulda been, and make the best of what you've got.

You could always do grad law.

I think it was out of Black Hawk Down, a poignant critique and a display of the anti-politics involved with young men in war.
