hi, can someone give me a uai prediction please?
here are my marks and ranks from 1st semester. I go to Scots Albury
english Adv - 95 (1/72)
french con - 90 (1/2)
eco - 93 (1/12)
maths 2U - 95 (2/60)
modern h - 95 (1/25)

wat has ur dux gotten in previous years?

99 - 99.45, but they all did 4unit maths, physics and chem
i forgot to mention ext1 maths, 85 (6/26), which i could probably improve...

I think you will get at least 97 at the minimum, but that is only my prediction on knowing how people at Scots usually go I couldn't really give you an accurate prediction. Someone else might be able to.

I would agree with our Modern History Mod. I would even go further by saying a bit more then 97.00

Yeah I reckon it would be a 97 minimum but you will probably get higher than 97... it's hard to tell though at small rural schools because the dux can fluctuate so much from year to year... what did the dux at Scots get last year Sarah? It was 99.something wasn't it? How many did u get over 97?

I know a couple of people from your school in your year... Anthony, Anna and some others... A girl from your school (Francesca) does a communications course at UTS with me

ever since i've been at scots (since yr5), the dux has got over 99 (except once when he got 95, and another kid got 99.00). i'm not in yr12 (yr 11 actually), but i was sort of hoping for some motivation...a bit of a goal, but yeah i know anna (walton?) and anthony quite well, and francesca, she's pretty cool.

last year our dux got 99.25, and we got 2 or 3 over 97, but it was a very strong year group academically.

I know a few yr 11 scotsers, umm David Robertson, umm McConviell etc.

Yeah I danced with Anna and did Speech and Drama with Anthony. I also knew some people from your year that left and went to private schools in Sydney and Melb, like Matt H and Xavier M from drama....

i think i remember peter saying something about cadets, actually. don't really know anyone from murray, i play netball against a few girls from there, and i know tim hanna in yr 9 a bit, and a science/ag teacher rick hanna (i'm friends with his daughter jacquie who is at scots)

Yeah rick was my yr 9/10 science teacher.

Hmm probably the quickest way to find out who I am would be to ask robbo about the guy that bags him out at cadets about going to scots.

Just a note on the UAI prediction, you will have to be careful, because ranks can change greatly from year 11 to year 12, so don't rest on your laurels! I came 32nd in Year 11 Chem but came 1st in Yr 12 Chem, so watch out because some people who are sleepers snap out of it and start being competitive in yr 12!

Just a word of warning....

Good luck with it all anyway, and don't take yr 11 too seriously, it's yr 12 that really counts.

Hmmm. I don't know if a UAI prediction in Year 11 is a good idea. Cause compared to last year, lots of people have changed in my year and you'll find that it can happen once people get their arse into line.

Isn't Anthony H still in Year 12? I remember Anna W, Xavier and Matt...ahh, those were the days...eisteddfod. lol.
Hey Sarah, I'm at AHS, in year 12, going fairly averagely...lol.

Year 12 sucks, remember that and you'll be fine.

yeah anthony is in yr 12, so is anna and matt (but he is at st ignatius' now in Syd I think) I think Xavier is too, but he went to some school in Melb.
