LOL the lowest mark in adv english at my school last year was 68%. If u dont get over 70 in advanced u have to blame yourself. Now imagine if the kid dig standard he wouldve got lik 50 something in my opinion considering that he told me he didnt read any of the texts for the modules

If ur going well in ext maths keep it because it scales pretty good and can be quet the back up. But then again 1 unit pffftt it aint worth the time and effort. You could be spending all that time maximising the marks of ur other subjects. :D

You gotta learn a lot more than just the specific dot point to answer q's in the hsc in detail and obtain full marks. With science subjects like physics and chemisty its around 40% calculations so you are going to have to practice this. The dot points are a good guide or checklist for you to...

I lost 1 mark out of 3 for not simplifing the eqn for one of those forming eqn q's and it wasnt obvious it was divisivble by 7 or something and had massive no.'s. Always simplify in any q or be prepared to take the risk of loosing marks esp in ext 2.

Don't waste ur time on extension questions if ur only doing 3u, ur never going to get anything near that standard of q. But just having a go at the odd one is good to help ur thinking, problem solving skills and approach to harder questions. For ppl doing 4u or planning to it might be worthwille...
