Conics is the sex ! I did it by myself in the holidays and found it awsome. On the contrary with an assesment coming up including harder 3u (circle geo and m.induction) << i am HATING it lyk crazy.

Okay ill take a wild guess. Find the equation of the chord of contact from that external point. Then solve simultaneously to find the points where the chord of contact intersects with the ellipse. Then u can go about normally by finding the tangent to the ellipse at these points

Re: Physics and Ext 2 HSC Physics is non calculus physics and so as many ppl have already mentioned the approach to the questions is ultimately going to be different. However, physics students will have an advantage in that they do theoretical parts in depth such as newton's laws of motion...
