I really wish they teach the electron transfer mechanisms of some reactions in HSC chemistry rather than uni. It would intuitively explain so much of the reactions in organic chemistry as well as why acids and bases react the way they do in the HSC course.

Yeah it can be, by considering only the magnitudes of the sides of the triangle on the number plane then applying the relevant identities of each quadrant (e.g. sin(π-θ)=sin θ)). Applying Pythagoras' theorem then cleans it up, which is in essence deriving the trig identity.

That's kinda HSC Science in general. You don't learn the concepts properly until uni.

No you're not expected to know that form in the HSC. If for whatever reason it comes up, there would have to be plenty of guidance based on principles within the syllabus.

What venues have you actually been to? I hardly see this at all. Usually the ones who 'walk out of venues in a drunken stooper' are the ones who get kicked out...they are fine to begin with, their friends do rounds to buy them drinks then security sees they've had too much and kicks them out...
