Yeah it amazing what is going on over there, here is a really freaky story: http://www.smh.com.au/news/world/we-are-out-here-like-pure-animals/2005/09/02/1125302714538.html "Man's life is as cheap as beasts"... people are acting like animals, it reminds me of a Lord of the Flies type...

    Moving out

You need help from your parents to get centrelink because you need to be able to show their earnings if you are not independant- they need to earn below a certain amount for you to qualify. You can get independant status bu earning lots of money in 18 months after leaving school, or I think...

    Should I do law now?

Yeah, journalists with law degrees are looked at quite highly, that is definately the case. Anyway, I'm still thinking about it, researching... if I got a good cadetship I'd take it, but that is unlikely even though I am busting my ass on community radio lol (not really, working in community...

    Brogden resigns

LOL so funny. And today, considering our topic in journalism studies was about the relationship between journalists and their sources, it was the perfect example for us. Does anyone find it curious that the story only broke now, considering different journalists from different papers would...

I bought a compaq laptop from Harvey Norman in about 1999 and had nothing but problems with it.... it was covered by warranty, but I kept taking it in and they kept denying that there was any sort of problem with it. Then, after owning it for just over 12 months, something happened and I...

What happens when you bring Jesus to University? BOB JONES UNIVERSITY!

OK that fashion thing is just toooooooo ironic! About the primary school; The lord has blessed? WTF? Don't you mean that they have conned parents in to forking out huge amounts of money for their children to be indoctrinated in fundamentalist values, and that is where the money has come...

    Little Fish

Yeah they were quite different but I preferred the narrative driven plot- Abbie Cornish was excellent though, but there is also some great acting in this film. I hope this film does well at the box office, it deserves to.

whos freakina about bein fat for there formal

If there are people who would laugh at you for being "fat" at your formal then I wouldn't stress... they sound like dickheads and you will probably never speak to most of them again when you leave school, so just go and have a fun time and don't let anyone worry you. It's your night, enjoy it...

    Little Fish

You could hear the American coming through, however in the plot his character had spent the last 4 years living in Vancouver, so his dodgy accent seemed plausible with that convenient part of the plot! But his acting was quite alright, but the accent was a bit dodgy every now and then.

    Miranda Devine 25/8 column

By your definition tell me a humanities subject at school or university that isn't "left wing".... it's called an education. People come out of it with lefty views, and people come out of it with conservative views. You have to know about what you disagree with, as well as what you agree with...

    Little Fish

Anyone else seen the new Aussie film Little Fish with Cate Blanchett? I had free tix to a preview on Wednesday. I thought it was quite good. I enjoyed it a lot more than Somersault, I think it had more of a compelling narrative. Some really good cinematography. Many stars in the cast...

Is ipod the best? Plus ipod and sound recording?

Hmm yeah I know the price is suspiciously good, particularly since not that many places in Albury even sell ipods.... but I am trying to arrange an Albury pick up so my brother and his possy can bash the guy if he tries to rip me off haha. I haven't purchased one yet though, still thinking...
