Really? I thought Med Sci people had the same subjects? My degree has people doing subjects all over the place but with Econ/bus faculty degrees, there are lots of breaks and freetime to meet up even if my friends and I don't have classes together.

I usually hang around wentworth or the study rooms in Wolstoneholme. Last sem, I went to the Oooni Sushi place for lunch a few times with friends (usually to cheer up after a miserable assessment or something lol)

note to first yr students: the textbooks for acct IA, intro micro and intro macro have changed to new editions so check with your lecturer before buying anything

american history doesnt require a textbook, just a book of readings.

UNLESS you click the "i want this timetable to be allocated to me" or whatever that button says, it won't give it to you and thus, your previous one is not obsolete. and what do u mean, you keep seeing different timetables everytime u log in?

Have heard of her from a friend but can't remember any distinct disaster stories (unlike De Roos). She would not be the tutor though> Econ1001 tutors are usually older honours students or associate lecturers. I remember Dennis (another Casual lecturer) didn't tutor his stream.

When you rank Accounting above Economics in terms of mathematical content, are you talking about Senior units, Lainee?

Students don't give filthy looks unless they are the hardcore ones who get peeved when you interrupt their 10 seconds of the lecturer's blabbering :p it's just the lecturers/tutors that might be annoyed. Even so, from my experience, 80% don't care.

from what i remember, the notes for the first Acct1001 lecture will be posted on blackboard. This was for last sem anyway.

They started these workshops just last sem for people who struggle in the first assessments (the quiz i think). It was optional for everyone but they strongly recommended that people who were bordering on the average of 50-60 to attend. It wasn't timetabled though so maybe it's compulsory...
