    Is anyone not a crammer?

I cram for exams cos exams = no COMPULSORY study but for assessments, I tend to do them in due time and reaosnable properly these days cos research HAS to be done and the essay HAS to be written ...but for exams, well, you don't HAVE to technically slavishly write those notes...haha

    Op Shop Clothing

Actually, missgtr, i notice that I do the same things as you for some of those aspects(like, wiping cutlery in restaurants, not sitting in warm seats, not sharing drinks, the poles on trains and buses though I DO hold them but I notice it's gross) but I think you're taking it to the extreme in...

    Is anyone not a crammer?

I guess that could be cramming but there are degrees of cramming. I know people who do an assignment ON the day (like START on the day) and I've done it once (for the record, passed it) but then I'm a mild crammer. like, for Stuvac now, I've frittered away 80% of my time but I do solid work for...

    Freaking out about your exams?

I wouldn't worry so much abotu Ecop1001. I mean, of course study for it but don't freak out too much cos it's like 90 mins and you even get OPTIONS for S/A so if you get stuck, just answer the next. The essays also give you options so if you do enough reading of yoru lecture notes, you shoudl be...

    Is anyone not a crammer?

Yeah, I noticed that. Looking back at the HSC, I practically KNEW what was gonna be in the exam before being examined! Now, it's hit and miss :(

    different types of passes

I thought a pass was just a pass, like between 50 and 64?

    Does Modern history actually count?

I'm not going to get into the argument of how useful it is cos the ignorance of the original poster is not worth my time. I will say that regardless of its worth Modern History made my HSC fun and so much easier to bear. Was my absolute fav subject and fav class and fav teacher. Best part of my...

    Is anyone not a crammer?

I started off the sem well by doing my work properly but I just trail off into laziness and the whole "can't be bothered" attitude. I've wasted my Stuvac frittering away my time so now I'm doing bare minimum for my subjects and I think I'll pass (well, I'm sure I'll pass 3/4 of the exams...

    Why do you read?

I find that when people say "lack of personality", it usually just equates to "boring/dull personality"... To stay on topic of this thread, I don't just love reading books but I LOVE, like REALLY LOVE readings newspapers (good ones anyway. Don't get me started on trash papers....). My friends...

    Scared..

:D I was gonna point that out :p My Mum only recently stopped thinking she has the right to open my mail  Edit: Hmm just noticed, my 5001st post...wonder what my 5000th was. You know you're procrastinating and posting alot when you can't even remember when and where your last...

    Why do you read?

I don't even think about why I read although I like what Scout said in TKAM, "Until I feared I would lose it, I never loved to read. One does not love breathing" It's just something I do and I hardly think about it. I've always had a book on hand all the time, always loved the library since...

    Motivation? How to get it

I didn't have a uni goal either, I just wanted a good mark but my motivation came from wanting to please my teachers pretty badly (lame as it sounds...) and beating people around me (streak of competitiveness here...). Not sure how much that applies to you but liking your subjects usually...

    Freaking out about your exams?

Ha. Same. I was a supernerd for the HSC and thought I sunk to my lowest last yr when I didn't even study during STUVAC but left it til those 24 hrs gaps between my exams to cram a Semester's worth of work. I thought, "I'll be more motivated next year" and now I'm thinking I can't be stuffed...

    Freaking out about your exams?

Ah, the poll just got added. I didn't realise this was for 1st years. Oh well. I, of all people, drew up a magnificent plan of what to study and do for each day of STUVAC until next Tuesday (my first exam). Needless to say, I'm failing miserably at keeping to the plan. I didn't even do the...

    Panic! At the Disco

They're a little TOO close to Simple Plan for me. I know you might think, "Eh?!?" but I need my music to be reallllllllllly far from Simple Plan-style crap for me to be able to listen to it. Havign said that, they are kinda catchy. I know this sounds weird but I wish that lead singer was...

    Freaking out about your exams?

I'm on the edge of freaking out. I've been treating STUVAC like a mini-holiday and I'm slowly realising how much cramming I have to do now :o
