Err well, considering she's in Singapore, she has no clue. I'm Asian and alot of my friends are Asian and we all (including their families) went absolutely MAD for this match and anything socceroos related LOL. I don't see what the problem is. I've seen people of ALL backgrounds clip that Sun...

The Official 2006 FIFA World Cup thread.

Gotta admit I didn't watch the match cos I don't have a TV in my room but the screams and shouts from next door plus the random crazy car beeping up and down the next street kinda alerted me to the result :D :D :D :D

Favourite brand? Umm Marcs and Jeans West Favourite designer label? I don't wear designer mainly because of the ridiculous prices and the fact that I could never afford it anyway, but I like Karen Walker, Chloe and Fleur Wood stuff. Favourite Shop? Jeans West, Marcs, Country Road...

My Complaint Against My English Faculty

Generally, I think they are being a harsh in treating you like this but as Number7 said, why the hell did you change rooms?? Change of environment??? Half of me feels sympathy for ya but the other half is just thinking "Bloody hell, for being so picky and utterly stupid as to change rooms...

    The Lip Debate

it's the same thing actually. Depending on the temperature, it can go liquidy and soft just like the stuff in the tub does.

    The Lip Debate

That's just vaseline in a tube. I love vaseline. I use that but I ran out of that tube and am not gonna bring the tub with me so I use a balm in a tube during the day.

Is it bad to not brush your hair?

I don't own a hairbrush and haven't brushed my hair since primary school. I just use combs. I used to think it was weird but I'm used to it now *shrug*

    Business/Commerce Majors

dude01, I sucked at maths in yr 12 and still do but there is no stopping anyone from grasping accounting if you can just wince through the utter boredom and do the work. I went into acct thoroughly miserable and wary of the numbers but get past the horrible mundanity of it and it's fine.

    Business/Commerce Majors

Well, obviously not in first year but when picking majors it's important to know what you're getting yourself into in later years.

how much should students have to work?

Well, I don't know whether the question is assuming we are living at home or whatever. I live at home and my parents take care of everything except my leisure expenses (going out money, clothes etc) so I only tutor for 5 hours a week for $100 weekly income. I know it's not alot for most but it's...

    Business/Commerce Majors

yeah, there's a difference between dealing with numbers and dealing with actual maths. Accounting is heavy on numbers (well, financial acct anyway) but there is hardly any maths or difficult formulas, it's just adding and subtracting really. Unlike, econometrics, economics, finance etc.

    Semester 1 Chatter Thread (2006)

Re: Semester 1 Chatter yeah, most people find that. I did HSC eco and I found understanding the content was easy but then the second I get thrown a question, it's like "what???" if you get lucky and have a good tutor or can find a good tute to go to, then it's really helpful.

    Semester 1 Chatter Thread (2006)

Re: Semester 1 Chatter But unless you understand the work, going to tutes for that subject is pretty useful. It was for me anyway.

    Semester 1 Chatter Thread (2006)

Re: Semester 1 Chatter I don't think ECON1001 tutes are compulsory. At least, they weren't last year. It's good to go to tutes anyway cos that's where I did most of my learning for Econ1001. On the topic of missing classes, I've been slackening off like mad these last few weeks. Have been...

    Business/Commerce Majors

From 2nd year onward, economics is VERY heavy on the maths though and didn't you say you wanted to avoid that? There is a definite jump in the maths from 1st yr economics and 2nd year economics. I'm doing 2nd yr micro now and there is some conceptual content but most of the HW I do from week...
