I've got a practical assessment tomorrow based on a titration, with some questions involved also. I have studied alot about volumetric analysis, but I would appreciate any tips for undertaking a titration, particularly in the context of a practical exam. :)

Re: Stat I'm doing the STAT at Sydney Boys High... but there are a couple of other places around Sydney, plus a few more testing centres around the state. The session timetable in the link above is old, I kept checking that one too, and noticed it wasn't getting updated.

FINALLY, I've gotten all my results back. English Adv - 96% - 1st Maths - 85% - 1st Maths Ext 1 - 74% - Equal 2nd. Biology - 93% - 1st Chemistry - 91% - 1st Economics - 92% - 1st IPT - 90% - 1st I'm very pleased with my results. :)

So, basically your saying our assesment marks are only used to determine our internal ranks, and only our internal ranks matter, and in the end the exam marks of the school cohort in combination with our internal rank determine our HSC Mark? If so, I hate the HSC Marks system.

I think your HSC Trials are a better, or closer indication of your HSC Mark. Then again, your assessment mark is obviously determined by all HSC Assessments, however the Trial is a better indication of what you might get in the HSC Exam.

So say I own my assessments and get a raw assessment mark of 95, with ranking of 1st, and then in the HSC Exam I end up getting the top mark, but I stuff up the exam and get only 70, does that mean my assessment mark of 95 becomes 70?

Re: Stat Yeah, I'm doing it.. Saturday 31st May @ Surry Hills (Sydney Boys High). That's the mid-year session. I think registrations close by 19th May, and they send you sample collection of questions along with the confirmation letter.
