    wanting a change...

Someone I know from uni works at Toys R Us and she said it was pretty crap. Food shops are FINE!!! Anyone that says working in food is hell is an idiot, it's totally fine. Sure you could get the odd one that is shit to work at, but most of it is fine. Try retail stores at your local...

    UAI's for modern

It doesn't scale that well in comparison to other subjects because I got my fourth best mark in Modern (and I did 8 subjects including extensions) yet it didn't count in my UAI. But don't worry about it, if you like the subject you will do well in it... it still scales ok.

    The Amazing Race

So sad Charla is gone! She was a legend! That guy who almost got himself arrested over $50 what a dickhead! Doesn't he understand it's a third world country they don't have the money for spare tyres. I was so pissed off when he finished first. It's a great series though.

I was working 32 hours a week while doing full time uni and I did fine this semester..... 26 is quite managable... in fact thats about the amount of hours a week I like to work while at uni. I think it depends on what degree you are doing. But to answer your question, you won't have to...

    Debunking myths of elite learning

That's a really interesting article and I would have to agree with the majority of observations in it. But being a female from a rural area from a public school where the majority of students didn't go to university it seems the odds have been stacked against me!!!!

Deferring for a year but still want to study some...

Going part time is probably your best bet.... if you do a tafe course or something you still won't get exemption from units at uni so you will end up paying twice for content... if you go part time in the degree you want to do then you will save time as opposed to studying somewhere else or...
