It doesn't scale that well in comparison to other subjects because I got my fourth best mark in Modern (and I did 8 subjects including extensions) yet it didn't count in my UAI. But don't worry about it, if you like the subject you will do well in it... it still scales ok.

That's a really interesting article and I would have to agree with the majority of observations in it. But being a female from a rural area from a public school where the majority of students didn't go to university it seems the odds have been stacked against me!!!!

I save to pay my HECS and to afford uni in Sydney. If I wasn't saving for that I would be saving money to travel.

Oh yeah I noticed that today (pizza hut). A few other things had changed that I noticed too: -New shops (essential ingredient and kathmandu etc) -Old lavvy maccas is now a car yard -Hogs Breath Cafe is new -Youth cafe is open -Evans Shoes moved Albury is just a happening place!

I've never gotten ane xtension.... so many people in my course do though for totally pointless reasons... if you have a doctor's certificate, apparently the uni can't refuse.

Argh I just got home tonight..... I hate 8 hour bus trips!!!! Grrr! It's weird... I haven't been home for five months.... it's good to be home, but I will miss my Sydney friends!!!! I also miss being my own boss.... except I love driving when I am home cos in Sydney I have no car....

Going part time is probably your best bet.... if you do a tafe course or something you still won't get exemption from units at uni so you will end up paying twice for content... if you go part time in the degree you want to do then you will save time as opposed to studying somewhere else or...
