I've done both ecop1001 and econ 1001 and (currently) econ 1002. ecop is a useful subject in the social sense but if Yulia is a science person, i would tend to agree with Toodulu about the macro/micro subjects. It's abit more analytical and I have the feeling it would suit a science orientated...

Normally, I would be trumpeting the "i hate memorised essays" thing but this time, i think it's okay for people who are particularly weak in a subject to rely on that to get through. Obviously, it isn't the ideal thing to do.

they order in which you do your exam is important i did it in this way: write essay plans, complete S/A, write essays then do MC do it in a way that suits you but think of this cos not everyone is suited to doing it the way its set out (i.e getting stumped by a single MC and panicking etc etc)

you can change your preference til...a certain date. But you can change them after you get your UAI so that's PLENTY of time.

no, it's for people who want a commerce degree and a career in that area but who also want to complete studies of a language or interest units in 2 or 3 arts/science areas as everyone has said, if you're heading for a career in accounting then UTS looks like the best bet
