diff btw inductive and deductive reasoning?

Deductive arguments are arguments in which the truth of the premises is intended to guarantee the truth of the conclusion. For example: 1. All men are mortals 2. John is a man C. Therefore John is a mortal Since both 1 & 2 are true, C must be true. For a deductive argument to be good or...

VSU Emergency Rally - Tommorow (Wed 16th)

I'm not saying that I agree on that particular issue, but sometimes government must make decisions in the best interests of the country, not just what the majority wants.

taking up law sem2 as an elective ??

You can't do any actual law subjects without being in the Faculty of Law, ie. any subject that has the prefix "LAWS." This includes criminal law, etc. However, there are some business law courses under the School of Business Law & Taxation at UNSW which cover similar aspects of certain...

    legal studies = mumbo jumbo???

    Law people.

Like asqy said, you shouldn't worry about the offensive language. As mentioned you could be up for assault (civil, not criminal), if you placed the person in an immediate fear of harm. However since you said you are not making a threat as to the future, rather your behavior (smashing the...

    ...Yet another contract law question!

The parties can change the terms of the contract by agreement. Whether you intepret this as a termination by agreement of the original contract and an incorporation of the original terms into the a new contract, or simply a modification of the original contract, doesn't seem to present any great...
