    usyd enrolment

If you're doing BEd/BA I would think the contribution should only be ~$4500, a bit more if you do economics subjects. You don't have to pay on the enrolment day

Is the University of Western Sydney really as bad as people make it out to be?

I've heard plenty of people calling their uni shit. I don't really know anyone irl who talks up their uni much

what percentage of the total (full) fee are HECS fees?

It varies greatly. I'm pretty sure commerce and law are among the cheapest to teach (the same as arts), yet they cost a lot more than an arts degree. On the other hand, science and nursing, etc. are very expensive to teach, but the student contributions are in the lowest bands

    How Hard Is University?

That only applies to certain subjects, ultimately it's up to the subject co-ordinator

    B Arts question

For the BA, you have 24 subjects. As each major requires six senior subjects, as well as usually 2 junior subjects, double majoring still leaves plenty of electives. You could possibly fit in a third major if you plan things very carefully (would require you to start senior subjects in first year)

    Main Round offers??

If you didn't receive your first pref, your automatically considered. If you did get your first pref, you can move others above it, and you will be considered for those courses

I'm pretty sure accepting the offer and enrolling are two seperate things

    Majors/Units of Study

If you're set on 2 majors, you'll pretty much either need to do the straight degree then grad law, or in arts/law you may be able to organise 2 majors if you plan really well

Job Advice (I'm a current maccas employee)

Waste of time imo. Asking to be shown front area would be a good idea, and you should be able to pick it up really quickly (its piss easy to learn if you know back area). Although I'm sure you can get other jobs anyway

contradiction found on the UAC book and the internet!!

When they say 'without discount' I think it's referring to the 20% discount that Australian citizens receive if they pay upfront

contradiction found on the UAC book and the internet!!

That's actually not a contradiction, as Commonwealth Support and HECS-HELP are 2 different things. A CSP place means the govt pays for most of the degree, while HECS-HELP refers to deferring payment. So if you're an NZ citizen, you can get commonwealth support, but you still need to pay upfront

HECS fee + Bridging courses qns

SLE refers to how much HECS support you're entitled to, but I'm not sure how much we get. And 1 EFTSL is the standard yearly load for a full time student (48 CP in most cases)
