it'll probably help you if anything because by the time you do study it in class it will be revision, so you should be able to understand it better. also, that is like the easiest topic ever and should be very easy to learn from the text book
che guevara is a very common topic, so try to study it from a perspective that hasn't been done too much because chances are your teachers have already read a lot of essays on the same topic

i think i read somewhere that the stats course in second year assumes 2 units of maths, but i don't think it really matters. and apparently biology and chemistry are useful, but not required at all
Well you'd obviously have to be very successful, and I reckon you'll only be very successful if you're doing something you enjoy and are interested in, so it would really be a matter of what your interests are
I got into my course even though i was below the cutoff and no bonus points are advertised for the course, and i know quite a few who got into UTS law below the cutoff

Happy with ANHS, but would have been good to get 2 extra marks. ECOP and GOVT were as expected
Tbh, most arts majors aren't going to get you directly into a job, its really more about the skills you pick up during the degree. That said, a career can be made from archaeology, it will just be very competitive
