Question about B Laws (Graduate Entry)

Did you really think you can do a law degree in one year?

    Flexible Entry

Hard to say because it's a new course, but I think the uni is expecting the UAI to be ~93ish so you have a good chance

Would a UTS business degree really disadvantage me?

The uni you graduate from won't get you a job, its about how well you do and what kind of person you are. If you can't get a job after graduating from UTS you won't be able to get a job after graduating from UNSW/USyd

    Confused: UNSW or UWS??

Simply put, you haven't been to uni yet so your opinion counts for shit. Who cares if UWS is not prestigious, doesn't mean it isn't a good uni

    Help! Bus/Law cutoffs

Not sure of the trend, but I know a fair few people who got in below the cutoff

    Flexible Entry

I'd say it's quite likely you'll get in. For economic and social sciences, which is in the faculty of arts, I got in with a UAI of 89.20 even though the cutoff was ~92 and I think some got in with lower than me

Science/Law vs. International and Global Studies/Law

The law part of each combined degree will be the same. Basically for that you do 10 law courses over the first 3 years, and full-time law in 4th and 5th year. For the BIGS component, you do a major in one of the listed areas, which requires 48 credit points (8 subjects). You also do the four...

    Flexible Entry

Its probably unlikely but its worth a shot, and if you don't get in you can just do a straight BA and try to transfer

Uni/Career questions by a School leaver

With that UAI you definately won't get into med, and i wouldn't think you'd get pharm or physio but I'm not sure. To transfer you just apply through UAC like school leavers, they take into account your UAI and uni marks, or in some cases just your uni marks - the transfers section has info on...

how do u rate comerce @ usyd?

Higher UAI does not mean the course is better Rankings like this don't really have anything to do with undergrad courses though, they're really just based on research

Help on International Global Studies/Law at USYD

Bear in mind that in the USyd handbook it says the major in International Business is 'subject to approval.' If you're set on that particular major, I'd reccomend you email the degree director (dick brian) and ask if you'd be able to do it
