Re: The UTS 'Get Naked and Secks' Thread
Nope there's no online debate at all, just the 2 things I attached, as well as the final.
My tutor's Kwan, he said he'd email us in the next day or two, but other tutor's told their class what they got
Edit: I just got the email, I got 7.5. It's...
Re: The UTS 'Get Naked and Secks' Thread
Has anyone got their class marks for Accounting yet? My tutor seems to be the only one who refused to give anyone an a for the homework, so apparently our class average is about 7. And then someone in another tute apparently got 8 even though he only...
Re: Final Examination Timetable (Aut 08) Provisional - OUT!
Yeah I haven't really been motivated to do much study, my weekend until Friday will be intense
And I'd hate to do a 6pm exam, if it went for 3 hours i probably wouldn't get home before 10.30
Re: The UTS 'Get Naked and Secks' Thread
I've heard a lot of people saying they prefer Rod, I don't quite understand this. And yeah I'll probably do it as a second major with marketing. Unfortunately, looking at the handbook, the major seems to focus more on macro than micro, and we have to do...
Re: The UTS 'Get Naked and Secks' Thread
Yeah the last lecture was good, gotta love TK.
And I definately prefer micro over macro. Also, what do you think of the new lecturer? I just forgot his name. I reckon he's alright, but Chris was better
Re: The UTS 'Get Naked and Secks' Thread
Really? it still seems quite easy, although the individual assignment average was only about 50, but the group presentation seemed to be marked very generously
Re: The UTS 'Get Naked and Secks' Thread
I'm not doing ATBD, AB has been more than enough for me. Planning on majoring in marketing, and maybe economics
Re: The UTS 'Get Naked and Secks' Thread
I've found MPO to be pretty useless, and I haven't really learned much in tutes. John Pratt's a decent lecturer, considering the content he's working with. There isn't an online debate, the assessment is a 2000word assignment worth 40%, a group...
In case anyone's interested, these are the lecture summaries for Economics for Business at UTS. It's probably slightly less detailed than what you'd do at USyd or UNSW, cause we only have 8 lectures on micro and 4 on macro
Basically, it'll help with your intro economics subject. At UTS, this basically covers the important parts of the preliminary & HSC courses and goes a bit more in depth. We do this in 11 lectures, so it's pretty fast paced for those who have never done eco before, but quite a few are still...
I'm quite liking my degree so far, although accounting is shit boring. It should get better after first year when I start my majors. And only 12hours is good too
I went in January, I had also just been to Seattle, Vancouver, Montreal, New York and Santa Fe, but San Fran was my favourite, I absolutely loved it. The streets are too steep though, just walking around is so tiring
I'm not sure where the broadway one is, but for the coffee shop at markets, just walk down the road from the library just pass block C of Haymarket, and the cafe is on your left
