You can do them now. I just did mine

I'm pretty sure it isn't, I think I read somewhere that the co-contribution only applies to contributions not counted as tax deductions. so you can either claim it as a deduction or get the co-contribution, but not both

Re: Winter Break '08 Chatter Thread I got accepted into economic and social sciences for mid-year entry, heaps surprised because I was under the main round cutoff and they said the cutoffs wouldn't go lower. need to decide whether to accept it

As if most jobs require maths. Sure they may require simple arithmetic, but not the crap you learn in the HSC.

No I'm pretty sure you can't because if you apply for a transfer and you've completed less than one full time year of uni, only your UAI is considered. Once you've done a year of uni, uni marks and UAI are weighted equally

As far as I know, the International Business major isn't particularly useful on its own, in that it doesn't directly relate to jobs, the major seems similar to first year subjects, as you do subjects from various schools, but with an international focus obviously. I just bought Freakonomics by Steven Levitt a couple of hours ago, and I'm already about halfway through. It's great, really easy to read and really interesting
