Since nobody in my family has ever been to Uni, my dad dropped out in year 10, my parents own a pizza shop and my mum won't tell anyone what she got in the HSC, I've got it pretty sweet. My parents don't push me..... however I do!!!! I want to get 96+ and I am trying hard to get it. My...

    what are you up to

We are currently doing the last bit of Blueprint, and we did Maintaining a Balance at the end of last year. It sounds like you are really behind, to take 1.5 terms to do one topic.... you might have to get a head start on other topics yourself by using textbooks or something.

    Poetry?

About themes.... for my major work I think the theme (dance) has really given me a focus, but it's still broad enough to not be restricting. It also helps when you don't know what to write..... you just search for something that relates to the theme and then you start to get more and more...

    The Individual and Society

Do your teachers allow you to use texts from outside the historical period?? At our school our teacher says we should have related texts that are both 19th century and contemporary... but I was looking at the notes from the marking centre for this years HSC and it said something about...

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll look into it. As for the "I love you"... lol earlier this week I thought that maybe if I wrote random words on a page it might pass for poetry lol..... wishful thinking....

    Poetry?

I like your ideas. For research, there isn't much other "dance poetry" for me to read so I have been watching films, talking to dancers, reading dance fiction and biographies, and using my own experience and knowledge as well. I also continually read a broad range of poetry, just to get ideas...

    13 Units?

I'm thinking about dropping extension maths perhaps, it's not as if I can't do it, or am struggling with it or anything, it's just the time factor more than anything else....... Do you think it would be more worthwhile to drop Biology though because it doesn't scale as well???? It's so...

    DISTURBING MISTAKE IN EXCEL GUIDE

Well there is other stuff wrong too! I'm not particularly impressed with the excel guide. In the Indochina section it says that the Geneva conference was held in July, but it was in May. There are also two pictures in the indochina bit and the captions are mixed up. There are also a fair...
