The subject I hate most is ...

Yeah I do 4 U English. I don't like Advanced anywhere near as much as I like Ex 1...... I think maybe it's because our class moves a bit slowly and some people whinge a lot lol. You have a point about not being able to choose English..... I wonder if it wasn't compulsory how many people...

    Smashed!!

It is soooo hard handing first drafts...... you just don't know what people are going to think, or if they are going to "get it"..... my teacher looked at some of my first drafts this week, and gave me lots of constructive criticism which was good..... I knew that what I had written was pretty...

what did u think of WW1

It wasn't horribly horrible but it isn't that great either..... I think the best part was leanring about the women's role and the social change that came about from the role they played.

    Who has started writing?

I'm doing 13 units (all of them this year!) and I'm doing ex 2. I think the best thing about ex 2 is that it is a bit more flexible than most subjects.... you write when you have time etc. So you can do writing earlier in the term and then when you have assessments at the end of the terms for...

What form are you all using??

I'm doing a poetry collection on dance. In regards to it's relation to the other english courses, it relates to Ex 1 because it is mostly going to be about dance in it's culutural contexts. I'm also hoping to use some dramatic monologues that will follow some of R. Browning's stylistic...

    13 Units?

Why, did he really stuff up, or just wasn't happy with his mark? It would be hard to be captain/vice and do thirteen units......... I'm only a prefect so I don't really have many duties........

    13 Units?

Hi, thanks for all your replies. I've got morning periods too, I have Extension 1 English on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, and Extension 2 English on Friday morning. They aren't that bad... I would just waste the time in the mornings anyway. I have 3 forty minute long free periods a...

UTS is one of the unis I am looking at for next year, and I was just wondering what people think of it... pros and cons??? One of the main reason I am attracted to it is the international studies program... does anyone here do it, what's it like? I'm interested in doing a Communication...

Which book do u think is the best???

We use Conquering Chemistry..... it's got heaps of irrelevant stuff in it (possibly because of the change in syllabus) but it's OK. I also have the excel Chemistry pocket book (it's pretty good.... just tells you what you need to know and nothing more). Also, I have the Jackaranda HSC...
