What raw mark u aiming for and band

My 75% prediction above includes minus 2 marks for every question with 5 or more marks (there are 5 questions including option). I know I got 6 wrong in Multiple Choice. 7 marks obvious mistakes and 2 marks for silly mistakes in short answers and option.

    Length contraction???

For those who got 0.3m, was your answer for mass (part b) increasing or decreasing?

    The Stress is Overrated

I am capable of studying max 30 minutes per session and max 2 sessions per day, and each session has to start with 1 hour procrastination. Yeah, I am not stressed. Whoever got stress must get 99 UAI.

    Question 18. work done?

Go here for 2006 HSC discussion: http://community.boredofstudies.org/686/physics/ For your question, the topic is here: http://community.boredofstudies.org/686/physics/125656/question-16-a.html

    Want to compare multiple-choice answers?

But the plates changed from aluminium to copper. Isn't that a problem?

    Questions i didnt know

The last question I attempted on the whole paper... with 3 minutes left. I think I wrote eddy current, oppose, magnetic field, flux and stuff but not Lenz's Law and for b, I got completely wrong because I though the resistance to go down will decrease as temperature decrease due to less particle...

    Length contraction???

I did the exact same thing there, but still confuse which frame of reference is supposed to be shorter because I looked at the wording of the question, and it is the exact same phrase as part (b), mass dilation one; I thought my answer for mass is increasing so length should be decreasing...

What raw mark u aiming for and band

Yeah band 5 is good, or probably 4, still have hope for band 6 though cause I fill in all the blank.

    Option: Medical

And the 7 marker question is the exact copy of CSSA 2006 7 marker, except it is "assess" not "compare", and because I only read CSSA answers once long time ago, I totally forgot about radio wave being used in MRI, but otherwise my assessment for the "assess" is pretty good I believe.

    Want to compare multiple-choice answers?

This is what I got with a small analysis. Around 6 mistakes I think. 1. C (Good) 2. B (Tangential velocity VS centripetal force) 3. D (The others are quite incorrect) 4. B (Acceleration does not change in horizontal motion) 5. B (I know it is D. I use T=2piR/v which is incorrect. You should use...

    General thoughts on the exam

Yeah, this paper is relatively easy. Well, that's if you have studied. If you didn't, it was still not too bad. I only studied for few hours total for physics and I believed I did well, at least 75% raw; MC got me, short answers are ok and I like my option, Medical Physics.

The GPe questiona dn the mass and distanceH

I couldn't think on the exam, so I just wrote F is constant and I2 is variable, then make d the subject. I know it is wrong, but at least I got some marks for the substitution...

    Q. 17 Multiple Choice

Another assumption in this question is that the company in question is in high-tax country because the company wants to reduce the amount of tax it pays (if it is in tax haven already, why it still wants to reduce its virtually nil tax), so its subsidiary (in option B) must be in tax haven for...

    Q. 17 Multiple Choice

Look at the bold part above for clearer definition.

    Q. 17 Multiple Choice

Subsidiaries aren't necessary for transfer pricing but subsidiaries help preserve the profit for the business. The question is only asking what the business does to reduce the amount of tax it pays.
  16. XcarvengerX

    Q. 17 Multiple Choice

Yes, this is supposed to be a simple question. The problem is because option B is not very specific in the location of the subsidiary (in tax haven or high-tax country like I said above), so some argue that B may be the answer to this question. No one argue about option A though, so I don't...

    Q. 17 Multiple Choice

Well, from Jacaranda textbook, I think the writer assumed that the mother company (the headquarter) is in tax haven and the subsidiaries are in high-tax countries whereas Sykes textbook's assumption is the exact opposite. Option B does not give any specification in where the subsidiary is...

    How many pages ?

It is easy to get 15 or 16/20 for the last two sections if you cover every aspects of the questions. But from there up (16+), it will be quite difficult and the time needed to get those few extra marks can be spent in reading multiple choice questions more carefully to avoid silly mistakes, or...

    Hsc Mark

Internal - 90.15, round-up to 90. External - hopefully 90+... otherwise this will not count for UAI. Either this or Physics.
