    I'm not too familiar with this but I as far as I know. CS involves alot of theory which can applied to a wide variety of situations. Software engineering is mainly about developing, optimization of software packages as well as some management.

    Prepare to wait in line alot depending on how smooth things go (especially for Access - internet connect went out last year). Access is worth it if you plan on buying food, apparel etc on campus.

    In university it gets confusing on how symbols there are and even worse some of them are used repeatedly within the same context. It's not that bad printed but on paper and writing mistaking \rho with p can lead to serious consequences.

    You have to do 1 years worth of maths (12cp). Since you're doing chemistry which is rather mathematical, you should opt for the normal units (MATH1001, MATH1002, MATH1003, MATH1005).

    If you want to transfer uni courses that depend on a combination of your ATAR and GPA/WAM or ATAR alone then yes.

    Depends on a combination of your ATAR and your WAM/GPA. Whether it's WAM or GPA is up to which uni you go to. Also take into consideration the competitiveness of the course you're applying for since many of them require at least a credit average (65 wam).

    WRIT1000 or WRIT1001

    WRIT1001 basically gives you 20% free marks as long as you hand in the work/do your speech. If your grammar is a bit off you should consider WRIT1000 first though. No finals as far as I'm aware.
