    Alias!!!!!!!!!!

It definitely won't be back before the mid-year period, so June/July sounds reasonable. And I'm definitely going to the convention, David Anders is worth way more than that. ;)

    Point Pleasant (SPOILERS).

Buffy was actually funny though? I think it's more similar to The OC than Buffy. I can see why you think it's not, and it's not copying their storylines, but it has wannabe-OC qualities. It was definitely a creepy episode.

    The Amazing Race 6

Team Spazpants. ;) I only started watching in the middle of season 5, but season 6 has me hooked. I might still watch it on tv after Lost.

    Point Pleasant (SPOILERS).

It's not a very good show at all, but there's plenty to look at. I hope they keep the hot priest around. :o I know there has only been two episodes, but the plot hasn't been that spectacular, and so I'm only willing to wait for a few more before I just pretend it never existed. It's The...

    UTS Enrolment problems?

I'm unsure about what's going on too - I did all my enrolment stuff this afternoon but I haven't got any sort of confirmation email, and then when I went to try again the button was greyed out. I'm sure they'll fix it soon, and as long as you accepted it with UAC that's the main thing.

    UTS - Offers released

I don't mind that I didn't know yesterday. It's not like a day is that long extra to wait. I'm more interested to see what the cut-offs are. But still, I'm sure it would have relieved other people to know what they got into sooner. :p

    margaret atwood

I read The Blind Assassin last year and I thought it was quite good. I'm about 200 pages into Alias Grace and it seems interesting so far. I like Atwood's writing style, and how it's not boring chapter after chapter - TBA had the different storylines, AG has letters and poems and things.

Harrison's vomit trick was gross! But the Exorcism For Dummies book was too funny for words. :p Sometimes scripts and acting are quite ordinary, or over the top in the wrong way, but some of their more satirical type stuff is hilarious.

The Official "Desperate Housewives" - Pre Feb Thread

I'm going to watch it. [And see whether it's really that much better than Alias for getting like 25 million more viewers than it does :( ]

    confess... quality or quantity?

Quality for sure! I averaged around 7 pages per essay [medium sized writing], and I got 91. Not saying that writing more isn't a good thing, but some people are far too verbose for their own good.

    "Lost".

I'm aware that the US is by far more populated than here, I was just pointing out that, to me, it's an amazing number of viewers. I'd say Seven will put it at 8:30 or 9:30 early on in the week, depending on what they do with Desperate Housewives and their other new/Aussie shows. And I...

    "Lost".

Lost rocks. :D It's back on in the US on January 5th. I can't wait. And Channel 7 might be careful with it, last week's episode had 19 million viewers in the states - that's more people than those in Australia who even own a tv.
