    Alias

Not really. You find out what was meant to be on the document in the first episode, but...it's Alias. How seriously can you take the information they hand to you? ;) Basically what you see at the end of season 3 isn't what they tell you was on the season 4 documents.

    Alias

There is a distinct 'bad guy of the week' feel, and there have been a lot of problems with the episodes airing in a different order to how they are written, but season 4 is doing a good job with continuity so far. People who think it isn't as good obviously haven't seen some of the episodes...

    world cities vs megacities

A mega city is defined as an urban agglomeration with a population of 8+ million people? And a world city definition goes on for like a page... The population of a world city is irrelevant. Sydney is on 'the list', so to speak, and we don't have a large population. Only a few world cities are...

    Lost

I thought it did have one, but then it disappeared. The magic of tv births! I am glad actually, because I read a spoiler that Claire died while giving birth and it would just randomly come back into my head for weeks. So at least I didn't get spoiled about Boone. Thankfully since I keep up...

    Lost

Word. ;) If you haven't liked the 8 episodes so far then maybe you won't like the rest of the show. For those who do like the show the hype is completely justified.

    Lost

I know Alias has been renewed. I've been watching season 4. And I wouldn't call it useless, considering the actors they've been getting back for it. What I meant is that Alias is meant to be airing a double episode the same night of Lost's double episode. And so they might not show Alias that...

    Lost

I'll correct myself: the two hour episode is number 24. So 23 is on its own. I highly doubt that ABC would show anything without commercials, they haven't been a highly rating network in the past and I doubt they'll let the chance go. :p I didn't know that 23 is scheduled for the same night as...

    Lost

Oooh I like it! It would explain things I've read about the cast for next season. Scheduling heads up: 6/4 - 20 [Do No Harm] 4/5 - 21 [The Greater Good (a.k.a Sides)] 11/5 - 22 [Born To Run] On the 27th of April there's a 'Special Edition Episode' - recap. And episode 24 is two hours...

    Growth of Megacities?

Do you know about overurbanisation and overruralisation? This is from memory, so the details might be a little off, but basically there are more people living in the rural areas than the rural areas can sustain, so they move to the city. And because of all the people moving to the city we see...

    Lost

Yeah, where's Charlie with all the drugs falling out of the sky like that? :uhhuh: My impression was that when the guy on the other end of the radio said "there were no survivors" or whatever is that that's what they've assumed - no one is looking for them any more because they think...

    Lost

Poor Locke. :( I loved the episode. It reminded me a lot of Alias, especially the creepy dream sequence. I hope Boone is okay! And the Sawyer/Jack/Kate scenes have to be the funniest Lost moments so far - "when was your last outbreak?"

I liked the box company reference. But everytime I hear it I think of The Simpsons. :D It's possible that he only worked there after he became paralysed, but I'd believe that the secure line thing was related to something he was involved in outside work. I don't know if JJ would make Terry...

CoraL reef ecosystems :: management strategies

I'd love to earn the same amount as a motivational speaker! I got 94 for geog. zenger69 is right, the markers are looking to give you marks rather than take them away. Geography is particularly lenient in some areas - it doesn't matter if your grammar or spelling isn't 100%, as long...

CoraL reef ecosystems :: management strategies

Don't worry, I'm only saying MC is the easiest to improve because my teacher told me the same thing. :p And in a way it is. I'm not completely convinced though. I was getting 9-11/15 for all of my exams. And like you said before, the errors that you make aren't even clear when you get it back...

CoraL reef ecosystems :: management strategies

To do well you just need to find your weakest area and improve it. :p Multiple choice is the easiest. You have a 25+% chance of guessing the answer and getting it right. So just make sure you know all your content and then work on skills. Applying your knowledge to the situations they give...

I didn't think Hurley's story would be that sinister. :( Great episode though. I'm not looking forward to the long wait.

    assessment

For the first part you'd write about what you listed. Define the urban dynamics, and give some examples of where they're occurring today. For that particular point you'd focus on how manufacturing has moved away from the city and that in Sydney now it's mainly residential/commercial. And so it...

    About Library Tutorials next week

This week's Tuesday 9am lecture wasn't full. So yeah, you'll just have to squeeze out the door when it's finished. ;) I'm at 10 on Tuesday, and don't think I'll be getting to the library 5 minutes early. Stupid confusing system...

CoraL reef ecosystems :: management strategies

I don't remember why. It wasn't a conversation I thought it would be particularly important to listen to. All I know is that I did reasonably well in geography by just paying attention in class. Perhaps some of the things I was learning were out of a study guide, I don't know. Again...

    About Library Tutorials next week

I keep looking in the corridor thing too and feel like an idiot when there are no library groups up yet. :( I'm glad I'm not the only one who isn't totally in love with the compulsory classes so far. ;)
