it should have forced you to update MSN recently, as microsoft are preparing to move to MSN 7.0. You need to have 6.2 to connect as far as i know. Trillian is good, and if your on linux or mac .. Amsn is good also.

Windows SP2 includes some wireless stuff... havent checked it out though, but it makes it alot easier to set up stuff. If you know what you are doing, security shouldnt be a problem.

ive got a wholesale price list (because i do computer repairs) and the largest hdd i can get a price on from that list is 250Gb .. so im not sure about anything bigger! 400Gb is huge!!!! Who knows how you would fill that for home use!

in Win2k (and maybe win XP im ont sure) the administrator can stop you from right clicking! so if your on a network .. and someone in your house has admin access and a bit of PC knowledge, they may have disabled right click!!!

I'll let you know if this occours on my new powerbook - but I wont be using it much for word processing, so it wont affect me too much. I'm mainly getting mine for video and music editing and creating.

I never heard they were bad for word processing!! I'll have to investigate this further.... i know that Office for Mac performs alright, but never knew about the smudgy letters. Toshiba and apple all the way!
