when i listen to music while i study I find it distracting, changing song is probably the most distracting part but getting to in to it isnt the best thing for productivity either. sometimes I sort of tune out to the music and get really into my work. IF i can achieve this i find music to help...

mx2 is by no means the key to getting 99 (although the scaling and aligning would greatly help). Work consistently and make sure you are high ranked in all your subs (this varies based on what school you go to though). YOu should be going for a band 6/E4 in all your subs

Its probably been said already but not getting into medicine undergrad is not the end of the world. Most people currently studying medicine are doing it postgrad so you wont be behind by anyones standard. Also most undergrad courses are 6 years, while postgrad is 7 years. So the first step is...

when something like this happens its best not to ask questions but I'd guess it one of two reasons The scaling of one of your subjects changed slightly and therefore your agregate was increased (meanig a higher atar) or while doing another results check they discovered an error in your marks...
