Unfortunately it is unlikely, unless you are rural or achieve an extremely high ATAR or applying to Bond. Remember universities such as JCU don't look at UMAT. There are other pathways, non-standard, graduate, etc.

Look at the percentiles, anothing above 93-4% should get you some interviews provided you satisfy the ATAR, etc criteria.

This result is not mine so don't ask me about the high score and yes you can get above 100 in section scores if you do exceptionally well in it + scalling, etc pushes the top students over 100 for the respective section. Example, someones actual result from last year:

This is what I got last year, I think the timing of the email release that get sent out are staggered to prevent server overload: I think results should be out by Thursday, but they will prob either come out today or tomorrow I think (well, I'm guessing)...

Meh, the only two people who really know about that are the Dean the Prof of Medical education at UWS, but that's what they told us.

They weigh them so half the students who have reached either the non-gows or GWS thresholds come from GWS and the other half non-GWS. Last year they changed section 3 to weigh 1/3.

Not to sure, but last year the umat results were released on the 23rd (Tuesday) of September, 2008. They normally release results around the 22-25th of September.
