    code-similar or word-based pseudocode?

Pseudocode is code that does not have to confine to any syntax of a particular language. E.g. BEGIN play song If end of song NextTrack = true END Think of it as 'fake' code. It does not compile. It's only used to get a better understand of the scenario. Have a look at my notes in...

    Employers biased against some Uni's

yeah, you can look at it like that. I wasn't really thinking about prioritising. But it depends on the company. I know the big Banks will look at your marks, to see if you got Ds or HDs, before you even get to the interview stage. But I can see what you mean. A degree is what you make out of it...

    Employers biased against some Uni's

It's pure bullshit. If anyone ever tells you that the university that you go to, will affect what an employer thinks of you, is highly ignorant, and probably just an arrogant and biased person. They have their mind set on one particular uni, simply because it has their 'most favourite course'...

Free notes for 2012 HSCers and beyond :D

No problem, you're welcome :) Knowledge should be free for all who want to learn. The VET I.T notes, were compiled by a mate of mine, using the CSU website. On top of this, I constantly did past papers, and wrote out extended responses to show to my teacher (which she marked, I was lucky to...

Subjects for Year 11 and 12, help please?

Only do general, if you're really not that confident with maths (you should know by now from your junior years, how well you are at maths), but still need some form of maths for your career, e.g. industrial designer or some TAFE course that requires basic measuring. They look for at least...

    ATAR for comp sci.

Yes to an extent, but the final HSC SDD exam, doesn't rely on any one language in particular. It focuses more on standardised pseudocode which can be applied to ALL programming languages. But for the Assessment mark, I suppose so, yes it does rely more on how ur teacher marks ur major.

I wanted to do a IT degree until I heard this.................

Sounds like you went through a slight journey, only to end up wanting what you started out to be as. As long as you're happy, that's the main thing.

Re: What are u making for your major, what are you up to, and what language are u usi Sounds fun mate, keep up the great work. I made a game as well back when I did SDD.

How to answer IPT questions ??

Continuously make notes in year 12, and make a summary of notes in year 11. Practice plenty of past papers as you get closer to the final HSC exam. Just know your dot points and know recent examples of different types of technology spoken about in the syllabus. This will get you a band 6. I...
