Completing a degree and going into another degree?

Why not just do a double/combined degree. With commerce and science, you only add 1 more year of study if im not mistaken. However during thsoe 4 years u'll have to work harder. Though not that much harder because commerce tends not to have a lot of in-class hours.

The public behaviour of youths of 'middle-eastern appearance'

Oh, that explains it heaps. Are you lebanese by any chance? I've always wondered why the earlier lebanese generations (pre 1990) have integrated well into Australian society and have much to contribute. David Malouf and that aussie home loans bloke, just to name a few examples. Then you have...

    No appetite in the morning.

I get the same feelings too, and I also wear retainers. I don't think its caused by the retainers. Just your body is still suppressing its appetite from when you were sleeping. I dunno, all I feel like eating in the morning is milk, or cereal. It doesn't feel 'refreshing' if I eat anything else.

    Cabramatta 1980s VS Bankstown/Lakemba etc 1990s-2000

You're wrong, because the gangs were formed by youths and neither ethnic youths were particularly religious. Its probably got something to do with culture. European migrants integrated and are now considered 'aussie'. The Vietnamese are virtually indistinguishable from the Chinese in Australia...

    Cabramatta 1980s VS Bankstown/Lakemba etc 1990s-2000

While it's still prevalent, its certainly toned down HEAPS. There aren't, say, junkies passed out in the train station toilet. The Vietnamese have also 'assimilated' quite well- they top the HSC ranks, they work in our hospitals as doctors, Cabramatta shops generate lots of money, etc. This is...

    Cabramatta 1980s VS Bankstown/Lakemba etc 1990s-2000

We all say that many lebanese youths these days constitute a large problem. However, I beg you to ask yourselves whether this 'problem' is a temporary or long term social issue. For instance, during the 1980's, most of Australia was in an uproar over 'Vietnamese youths'. The Vietnamese formed...

Asian guys are out-competed by white guys for asian girls

Asians are feminine in their features. This is a boon for asian girls, but not asian males, for males are considered attractive based on their masculinity, not femininity. Conversely, some asian males capitalise on this fact and enhance their attractiveness by flagrant displays of femininity.

Is tutoring the secret to success HSC?

-I think we both agree that at uni, its sink or swim. Both the students who had tutoring AND students who self-taught will fail. Basically, its a calculated risk where you could either fail with a large debt or end up with a useful degree. I hate to strawman, but I should add that many...

Is tutoring the secret to success HSC?

Agree with some things, don't agree with others. -Some people don't have the discipline to regulate their own study. If their parents, or even themselves, sign up for tutoring then they will have more obligations to fulfill, hence will study more. This helps them reach their potential...
