Generally I only use notes prepared by others when I have been involved in preparing them, my friends and I often get together and make concise notes together, in my experience its difficult to use others notes because they dont make sense to you.

MQ: "Easy to get in, hard to get out" ??

If he meant hard to get out in terms of a transfer its a stupid argument also used against UWS. The only reason its 'hard' to transfer out is because your UAI was generally too low in the first place to get into the other uni, thus you need to get a good GPA to get out!. UAC and the uni you are...

Lol, yep. Anyone know when the hell webct will be up, I want to get some readings done now while I have the time! Law tutes almost always have tutes in first week as they don't screw around with the unit outline, you start work from the first lecture. With Arts, in my experience they...

Is the University of Western Sydney really as bad as people make it out to be?

Its not hard to get out, the reason why people find it hard to get out is their UAI is often significantly lower than the other uni's in the first place, thus they need good marks to get out...its nothing to do with the other uni's discriminating against UWS or anything!

    Solicitors in court?

Court rooms are sexy after all ;) Also Barrister's do not work in firms and do not form partnerships, they are soul practioners and work alone generally in a big building 'chambers' with other barristers. You will generally see solicitors in lower courts, things like a bail app in the...

Which uni should I go?Macquarie,RMIT or University of Western Sydney?

I don't know if it still is but I remember that UWS used to restrict what languages applied to the translation degree and I think they were mainly asian ones and not Italian because at one stage I looked at that...just check it up in the UAC book or website to be sure because a lot of...

    UAI Cut-Offs

Generally not a lot, sometimes if the uni gets to offer more places then it can drop a bit more than usual. No one can really say as it depends on the course, the performance of the cohort, demand, supply etc... Just have a plan b and remember there alternative entry schemes and you can...
