    Relationships in Uni?

As long as you guys make time for eachother, understand the differences in schedules and work around them and have a strong mature relationship then it shouldn't be a problem. I met my b/f at uni and I worried when I changed uni's that the relationship would fall apart but its all about...

    All you wanna be lawyers...

As far as I know I want to work in criminal law, most likely as a prosecutor but that could all change. People like your friend drive me nuts but often in law and it is probably the same in med they usually drop out by the end of the first year, often after the first semester.

    All you wanna be lawyers...

Generally with law you study core subjects such as: *Introductory subjects which teach you skills to study law (reading cases, interpreting legislation), history of law etc... *'substantive law subjects' such as criminal law, torts, contracts, consitutional, administrative, property, equity...

    All you wanna be lawyers...

Not necessarily, you need to remember they only consider UAI (at least that is the case in NSW). Also you need good English and Communication skills but it doesn't mean you need to do x2 english. Your best bet for getting into law is doing subjects you are good at and will get you the best marks...

    All you wanna be lawyers...

What do you mean what is law? They suggest the highest level of English you can handle. They don't require much but good communication skills and critical thinking are always good.

    All you wanna be lawyers...

You have a very superificial view of law , take it from someone who studies it. Law has nothing to do with memorising, you will always have access to legislation and cases. Our exams are generally open book because you CANT memorise it all. Each case is different in law, its about UNDERSTANDING...

    the pill

I just started on Levlen ED (I think I've taken about 10 of the active pills) and haven't gained weight yet although I wouldn't mind a kilo or two because I am a bit underweight, although I suppose I could gain weight because I haven't been on it that long.

Can you just do straight law?

Re: Can you just do vanilla law? I think it is partly because it is a lot to expect an undergrad (especially one straight out of school) to start will full study load of law subjects. MQ first year law students for example only take their introductory law subject and jurisprudence law subject...

    just cant do exams

Also do you attend as many tutes and lectures as you can and keep up with the readings because doing this is a major advantage at examtime. Its easier to do an assignment if you aren't keeping up with the work as you can research etc but an exam tests how much you have digested during the...

Do YoO think this is weird??

One thing that comes with maturity is learning to ignore people that are trying to bate you. Most of the people on here are just trying to get a rise out of you, the rest are giving you advice, its not fair to ignore that advice because others are getting on your nerves, a lot of the advice in...

    The Pill

Question, if you guys remember how long did the side-effects take to show up? I know things like weight gain wouldn't be instant but what about nausea, dizziness etc...first day, first few or later on? I've started today and wondering how things will go.

    blacktown is going down

I have to agree with the carparking issue, when I was there I had to be there pretty early to get a park and it will be worse with more students. It will be like last year when they closed off the 'temporary car park' everytime it rained, more people fighting for less spots. I heard from my...

Nix dear if you really don't care about what people think then why are you on here. I used to be like you, I use to let the trolls stir me up until I was talking nonsense. If you are happy with it then go for it, you are lucky your parents trust you (I'd like to think I will have a trust...

Do YoO think this is weird??

Yes maturity is not always linked to age but what you do not realise (and I am assuming you are still at school) that you will grow and mature heaps in your first few years in the big wide world. You do not realise at 16/17 how little you know about the world and responsibility until you are...

    What makes a guy/girl UNattractive?

Yes but there is a difference between dressing nicely and dressing in what is fashionable. I think people look better when they dress nicely but it doesnt have to be what is 'fashionable' at the time. Especially people who wear high cut tops and hipsters and don't have the body for it. Or people...
