Thanks, I am still having a lot of fun sorting out my program, damn the differing programs, how do you obtain a waiver? I will probably end up sitting at my academic advising with no plan and saying..."help me!" The difficulty is I only have 2 law units to complete 2nd year law units, but...

Starting law - How to get ahead

Re: getting ahead Every uni has an "introduction to law" unit (although the name differs content is generally the same). This unit will get you ready, teach you the skills you need and basic legal history etc... You can't prepare for law that much, what you have done at school in legal studies...

how hard to get credit average

Interest, effort and ability all have a huge impact on what marks you get. I found it easier to get higher marks in law subjects than in my arts/soc sci subjects, mainly because I enjoyed my law subjects a lot more, had a bigger interest in them and worked harder as a consequence (neglecting in...

    Law textbooks

Re: legal text books Buy the prescibed ones, with the recommended it is best to ask the person who teaches the unit as often the books are quiet expensive and most of us struggle with buying the prescribed ones. Unless of course it is something like a referencing guide or legal dictionary...

    Too many lawyers?

You can only do law at Parra or Campbelltown. I am pretty lucky Bankstown and Parra were 20 mins or so away, MQ is about 25-30 mins away and Syd and UTs are about 15 mins by train but i've heard UWS and MQ are the best for people in the hills
