    In 1811 you only ever use Excel and Access, there's no point teaching you guys linux at all, so in the first lab you're told you change your default session to WinXP. And even then, you'd be surprised at the amount of people that fail miserably to follow the instructions to change the default...

    No, the USB-to-Ethernet adapter only turns a USB port into an ethernet port if your computer doesn't have one, its doesn't turn a hard disk into networked file server.

    bwhaha Because in the week 1 lab they assume everyone totally sucks and wanted everyone managed to set up their account without doing real work (surprising how many can't set up their account) - but it always backfires.
