fr tho, what on earth was that exam? do they think we are phd pure maths students or something...anyone just do math ext 2 cssa?? wtf was that ?
How I did it:For those who have done the cssa math ad, how did you do the . question
what question did you have? did you sit the independent paperjust did paper 1 AND IT WASN'T BAD
i can't do ph calculations for my lifewhos ready for chem tomorrow
i'd like to think i am but the more i look at cssa papers the more i question myselfwhos ready for chem tomorrow
Yeah my school was supposed to replace that question since we haven't finished series and finance in time for the trials. They replaced 4 other questions but forgot this one. I can do the question now but I was seriously doubting whether I missed something from the logarithm chapters. How I did it:
1. Derrive f(x)
2. Recognise it to be a GP.
3. There is a limiting sum as it said 0 < x < 1, and r=-x
4. Do limiting sum formula
5. Integrate limiting sum formula to get f(x)
6. Sub in x = a and x = b
is it just me or are some of the multiple choice wrong...i'd like to think i am but the more i look at cssa papers the more i question myself
do you have an exampleis it just me or are some of the multiple choice wrong...
Lol don't let others acting like fags affect you, just do your best, also, you don't need to say anything at all, no one's forcing you to.Hi I'm new!
I'm looking for advice on how to deal with overly competitive classmates during the trial period, like the whole hoarding resources thing and having secret private tutoring is something I find incredibly frustrating when people keep bringing it up and I want to focus on my exams and it keeps making me doubt myself as well as just being a distraction. So does anyone know what I should say or how I should deal with this?
Anyway hello to everyone on this forum again and good luck during your trial exams!
* you are not entitled to what other people have. like if you don't know some of these people well/only know them because they're in your class, why are you frustrated when they don't share stuff, especially if you don't? people have their reasons to "hoard" or gatekeep what they have. i know two people who have plagiarised module c exemplars that have been passed to them. not going to help that type of academic malpractice. besides, they're likely going to share whatever they have post trials anyways so it doesn't matter.Hi I'm new!

the hsc might feel like it is a race against everyone else and while it is try and look at it as a race between you and yourself, try and beat yourself rather than comparing yourself the others, i know that isn't an easy thing bc i struggle with this myself, but in the end it is up to YOU on how well you perform, ignore how everyone else is doing and how they are going, put that thought and effort into yourself, and you'll see how much more confident you'll feel in your studies, take it easy its not the end of the world xxHi I'm new!

I found the tangent to the circle given a gradient of 1, and just waffled about it lying between 2±√3. I had nothing for b)for people who did adv cssa today, did anyone do the last question successfully? I think I got part a but idk if me drawing the circle and just waffling will prove that they intersect
i would rather DIE than do cssa maths like idk how you guys lived through itI found the tangent to the circle given a gradient of 1, and just waffled about it lying between 2±√3. I had nothing for b)
yea exactly, I just said that regardless of the value of the gradient, as long as d is within that domain, it will cross the circle at two points and just drew a random line as an example. Full shambles tho, hoping I get at least 1 for it. for b) i knew we had to use distance formula but i had no clue from there. Guessing there was a shortcut for the question as it was a 2 marker.I found the tangent to the circle given a gradient of 1, and just waffled about it lying between 2±√3. I had nothing for b)
