Amber gives Justin morning salutations (ohhhh, too much Rome in my system - anyone know a good remedy to purge Ancient History from an over-saturated mind? And yes, I do realise this is in first person, before you all jump in and berrate me )

Marcus has returned after being yelled at to do domestic chores.

A good way to purge yourself of the irritating elements of academic Ancient History is to travel to the places you have studied.

That's one reason why Marcus is going to Greece.

And the other reason/s would be that Marcus features Greek ancestry?

Amber is muchly jealous of Marcus' supposed good looks, as a result of his Greek bloodline. The only thing Amber managed to inherit from her English lineage was brown eyes and brown hair thankfully, her maternal side is Aussie, and from them she managed to obtain nicely tannable skin, and a tall slim figure. Amber is not complaining

Can Marcus please take Amber travelling? She would love to visit Greece just as much as anywhere else, cuz then she would get to visit Mycenae

Yes, Marcus Greek ancestry has helped his good looks. . He gets his height from his fathers Scottish Celtic line, and his wavy/curly hair, his grey blue eyes and nice Greek nose (like on the vases, hehe) from his mother side.
Marcus would take Amber travelling. He would like to warn her, however, that she will have to put up with his relatives. He intends to spend a lot of time in the village in Corinth. They make you eat 24/7 (they literally do not accept no. If you say no, they get you something anyway), they will be dragging Marcus around to visit his 200 odd cousins in the village. And everytime you visit a new cousin, you have to have a shot of Ouzo, so that by the end of it you are pretty far gone. Marcus will, however, be visiting Mycenae as well as the islands. He then intends to go Slavic for a while and visit FYR of Macedonia and Bulgaria. Then he would like to go Slavo/Latin for a while and visit Romania.

Amber says that sounds BRILLIANT, and she would also like to visit some Minoan sites if possible (she learnt of them through constant reference in Mycenae syllabus dot points)

After Marcus has taken Amber to all those places, Amber will take Marcus to Stavanger in Norway (where Amber's family's good friends live), and onto Ontario, Venice, London, and many many other places.

Amber is actually getting excited now LOL

Amber also adds that she does not mind lots of food as she has a fast metabolism, and eats like a pig most of the time anyway

If that is so, then Marcus believes that Amber would fit right in.

Marcus doesn't know if he can afford to go that far north. He pretty much wanted to stay in the Balkans. And his Greek pride prevents him from going to Italy..."hehe, nah," he says. "I'm only joking".

Although, Marcus is thinking that if he can get his dual-citizenship and somehow avoid being conscripted, then he will pretty much have free access to countries in the European Union.

Oh well Amber says that Amber and Marcus can just go to Greece first off, and then decide to go wherever the wind takes them

Amber trusts Marcus because she loved his MW and knows that he is terribly clever as he skipped year 10. She also adds that it will be convenient for him to have Amber come along, as she has a very cheerful personality, loves people, loves other cultures, and will be 18 LOL

Amber adds that she also can get dual citizenship of some sort (she thinks), as her father was born in Brighton, England. She can therefore get a working visa if she wanted

Marcus laughs at Ambers jibe about his age. Marcus agrees that it would be nice to have Amber as company. Marcus is also glad that Amber read and liked his major work!

Amber loved his major work very much! Amber still has it saved in her computer LOL! Although she read it whilst not familar with Marcus so probably did not comment on it - Amber cannot really remember. Amber read a LOT of people's major works. Yet by some twist of fate, the only ones she kept (because she enjoyed) were Lynn's and Marcus'! How very very odd!

Amber is not making jibes about Marcus' age. She takes 16 year olds very seriously, as from 14th feb --> July 15th this year she was going out with a guy named Kyle, who was 16 and in year11. They met at work, and were a fine couple indeed. However they broke up, because he feel in love with Amber's good friend Erin (who he is now with) But Amber and Kyle are still good mates (and he is going into town with her to celebrate on wednesday afternoon after the art exam)

Therefore, Amber is proving that she in now way thinks any less of Marcus because of his youth. In fact, she thinks MORE of him because of his overly large cranium.

Marcus raises his eyebrow. He thanks Amber for her compliments about his work, and is relieved that she does not think badly of him because of his youth. Marcus wonders if the Erin Amber is referring to is the same Erin who posted her critical response in the EE2 forum.

EDIT: Marcus is very pleased that Amber remains friends with Kyle.

Amber wonders why Marcus is raising his eyebrow she hopes she did not say something stupid, although she would not be surprised if she had! Amber often puts her foot in her mouth but she always tries to fix it if she has

Amber often gets told that a) She looks 16, and b) That she acts like a five year old. Amber just thinks that she knows how to have fun


EDIT: Amber has remained friends with all ex-boyfriends. Amber does not have any enemies, anywhere, and plans to keep it that way. Amber loves all her friends very much and finds it hard to dislike ANYONE, even cranky customers at work. Amber is always cheerful even to the nasty ones

Amber said nothing stupid. Marcus was raising his eyebrow about Ambers reference to Marcus' cranium. Amber need not worry.

Marcus often gets told that a) he looks 19 and b) that he acts like a 200 year old.
Marcus usually takes offense to this: "hehe".
Marcus likes Amber's joviality and her philosophy of friendship, but believes that it is sometimes necesary to be firm. Marcus believes that one can be firm whilst maintaining inner balance.

Yes, Amber sometimes struggles with being firm as she never wishes to offend anyone. She likes to make other people happy and worry about herself afterwards

Amber thinks an overly large cranium sounds cool! Amber wishes to see such an oddity Then she can sell Marcus to Ripley's Believe it or Not and watch him perform on tv

Then again, Amber's brother has an overly large cranium, however that is because it is generally filled with hot air about what the brother supposes are good looks and charm (brother is 13). Amber often has to laugh at brother's fashion sense.

No wait, Amber would never sell Marcus to Ripley's, he is just to reallyreallyridiculously cool for that

Marcus laughs at Ambers whole post. He would, however, like to state that his cranium is not abnormal in any way! But he is glad that Amber thinks he is too cool for Believe it or Not; and that he is not just some sideshow freak.
Marcus apologises, but he finds Amber's lunch vaguly reppelent: "ewww...hehe".
Marcus really really has to go study now...he enjoyed this conversation and hopes to speak to Amber again soon.

Amber agrees, and laughs that she was just about to suggest same! She feels guilty as she is not studying. Amber wonders (quickly) what Marcus is planning to study for art? Amber is going to study Aboriginal stuff, Jackson Pollack, Arthur Boyd, Abstract expressionism, Impressionism, Cubism, Surrealism etc etc and the Frames/ Framework.

EDIT: Amber find her lunch rather un apetising aswell, yet feels that she must eat something besides chocolate today LOL
