I would tend to agree that going over the word limit = no, but I know a girl last year who was 150 words over the limit and got 50/50. I have no idea how she did it, though to be fair you don't have to put your word limit on your MW anymore.

Think of it this way: it is literally the easiest subject to cram for the night before and still do well, you can make shit up and they will take you seriously as long as you have your textual examples to back it up, you don't need to know your content from Y11 (looking at YOU, math >_>)... etc...

Changing cultural values from ancient times to a "white Australia" to a multicultural society? Maybe chuck in a theorist or two? You have a lot of words to work with I will say. But because of that I'd make it complex; perhaps more than one line of narrative? Idk. Idk man.

Well for one thing we're an English speaking country. I for one wouldn't want students that can't speak a word of English to become our doctors, lawyers, etc. Science not being compulsory I can understand - not everyone is good at science, blah blah blah. But yeah in RE: maths, I'm with you there.
