You only do 2 subjects of law in the first year, and that they make you do combined, and that commerce have free options. So people like me can have 1 year to consider whether or not to drop law without falling behind:).

Re: How many hourse of study and sleep? I love sleeping, no matter how HSC it is, even during the exam period i had 8 hours of sleep, preferably 9, maybe even 10 during holidays or weekend. Anywhere less than 8 i ll get migraine, so yeh....

er? i dun quite get you. I always thought ppl who do ext2 math will also get a mark for 2u math separately...? Whatever the case, only the best 10 unit will be counted, and 2unit subject can always be halved if necessary.

It's never too late. Again, my experience, ranked 11/13 after half yrly, then 3/13 after trial in eng adv. Just gotta speed up, prehaps look for a tutor if possible. Read syllabus, make notes, ask teachers...etc.etc.. or ask for the top ranked people's paper. Secondly, don't have that...
