    how to meet more people?

It's not easy i guess for people who truly experienced it. I acquainted many people but finding friends seems harder. Shallow conversations happens for the first few seconds before lecture/tute starts, then maybe again during 10min break if any, when lecture is over, everyone go their own way...

    Finding a job after graduation

From what I gathered the standard road to law is doing a vacational clerkship during the 4th or 5th yr of uni, then the firm will promise you a position after you graduate, and done.

    Free Period?

My free periods were best allocated in yr 11. One on monday morning and one on tuesday morning, so I can sleep in on both days, and another one last period of friday, meaning I get an early weekend:). The rest is mixed in the middles, but it's still awesome. Yr 12 still okay, less sleep in but...

    Interesting scenarios, whats your opinion?

C could argue the fact that the involved person is his brother and this somehow provoked him and thus indirectly forced him to be involve, like how a mother protects her child. Whether C is "involved" in the matter isn't all that important. C's argument could be made stronger if the annoyance...

    Interesting scenarios, whats your opinion?

The first is assault, the latter is battery. Unless C can prove that he's acting to ensure the safety of B, then he got no case, otherwise i can punch someone and claim his existence provoked me. These answers are useless, i m just a first yr student who dun like law.

    Bored of School...

It's still pretty early in the yr, studying excessively hard now is pretty useless, you will just forget them all. Just study what's needed and ignore the rest, and save some time for fun. When you get closer to the hsc you will unconsciously cram more, since the closer the hsc, the more...

    Bored of School...

Your subjects have inferior scaling, so better study harder:) Just kidding....I just said that to motivate you. But seriously, it's okay to be bored from time to time, have some fun during the hsc, doesn't hurt, chat in class, play cards, crack jokes, blend some fun into it and it wont be so...

Depression and the HSC - how do you cope?

Re: depression caused by failing everything I been that road, and again now in uni, it's not pretty:(. The thing you ought to know is that there's ALWAYS alternative paths - insearch, foundation year, tafe, bonus points...etc.etc.etc.. What is important for you is to find out what you want...

    is this true / common?

UAI cut-offs are released after the main round, and the cut-off is nothing but the uai of the student who got the lowest mark. For example, in 2008 300 students got into course x in the main round, the lowest uai in this group is 95, then the cut-off is 95, excluding students with bonus points...

Is 99.5+ an unrealistic aim for me?

SC is not a good indicator for hsc results, it's the same what everyone said, anyone can achieve any uai, and given your SC result is pretty good, there's a real possibility of you getting that....Edit nvm

    education degree questions

I tried looking it up but I don't think there's a BEd course designed solely for teaching comp science . You can do B Education (secondary:science) in usyd where you do a major studies in science (e.g. geo, bio, chem) and then you can pick another second teaching which could be computing...
