Drawing phloem and xylem L.S. and T.S

i am also a little confused as whether tracheids are on the side of the vessel.. or actually make up the vessel. the hsc adviser told me that tracheids are a spirally structure that can be seen on longitudinal sections of Xylem, and they provide structural support for the xylem vessel.

yeah, we did that one, im pretty sure. we got two cans of canned beans, opened only ONE, partially, and the other was left unopened and sealed, for a few days. hence one was not exposed to pathogens, and didn't spoil, while the other did.

i agree 98% i don't agree with doing an open book past hsc. do it with wats in ur head.. and then u can identify any weak areas and go back to ur notes/textbook to pull up in those areas.

Well the gene for the production of Bovine Growth Hormone is identified isolated from the source organism, and then 'cut out' using special restriction enzymes. They then use the same restriction enzymes in the receiver organism (the salmon), to cut out the gene for growth hormone at its...

Yesss.... I hate it the most too! And the crap thing is, it comes in the exam every year. DNA polymerase is an enzyme that is responsible for the arranging and pairing of complementary nucleotides found in the nucleoplasm (okizuki fragments i think they're called) to their corresponding...

    Difference between Aldosterone and Vasopressin/ADH

Don't over analyse them. Just remember that ADH/Vassopresin increases the permeability of the loop of henle and distal tubule (even proximal tubule) to water molecules. Aldosterone increases permeability of the ascending loop of henle and distal tubules to sodium ions. Basically...

Cloning produces genetically identical individuals, by using the same set of genetic material in nucleating other ennucleated cells. Hence, by using cloning to produce disease-free banana plants in the lab, greatly reduces genetic diversity of banana plants, since all plants would be of...
