    Why do you think Physics is so hard?

    Physics isnt hard, you just need to keep studying the hard concepts until something click and it makes perfect sense. (tl;dr the stuff u learn is actually interesting) I know what did my head in the most was Special Relativity. At first I was like "ok sure whatever", but after a while it began...

    I need chemistry help!

    Ok in crude oil, theres a mixture of different length alkanes and alkenes (by length im refering to the number of carbon atoms in the chain) including methane (C1), octane (C8), parrafin (C20 - C40) . Petroleum is a liquid containing hydrocarbons of C5 - C12 length (hydrocarbons shorter than...

    Concentration questions

    Quick formula for concentration questions: C1V1 = C2V2 C1 = 10M C2 = 0.1M V1 = unknown V2 = 5L 10 * V1 = 0.1 * 5 V1 = (0.1 * 5) / 10 V1 = 0.05L Or 50mL So 50mL of 10M HCl is needed to make 5L of 0.1M HCl solution The longer method of doing this is by calculating the moles. C = n / V n(Hcl) =...

    Chemistry 5 markers +

    Ok when you see an extended response question, think what the marking criteria for the question is and use that to structure your response. Production of NaOH - what order?

    Hey, I was confused too when i saw the 07 quesiton. The conquering chemistry textbook claims that the Mercury process was developed as a response to the issues associated with the diaphragm process (i.e. use of asbestos, impure product from NaCl contamination etc) But when you think about it...

    Natural Rubber - Non-Renewable?

    my understanding is that it is a renewable resource(seeing its extracted from plants, using energy from the renewable sun)... BUT in a commercial sense its not renewable seeing the amount of time and land required to meet demand is not feasible (too expensive, environmental issues etc etc..)

    Chemistry - Masses with moles.

    ZnO (s) + C (s) --> Zn (s) + CO (g) All the species in this reaction are in a 1:1 ratio So the number of moles of ZnO = number of moles of Zn Therfore Number of Moles (Zn) = 0.2 Calculating Mass: N = M / MM MM = 65.39 M = N * MM = 0.2 * 65.39 =13.08g of Zn Metal

    LEar + Fool

    my teacher tell us to think of the fool as lears conscience, and theres a few good quotes (thou none with me) to support that argument. He makes alot of comments on Lear's flawed character, which Lear should be able to see, but ignores due to his excessive pride. Also explains the Fools...

    Trig Integration

    I solved this one using substitution: sin^2 3x sub 3x with u becomes: sin^2 u Differentiate u = 3x and u get du = 3dx 1/3 F sin^2 3x . 3dx substituting u becomes 1/3 F sin^2 u .du Now we intergrate: 1/3(1/2U - 1/4sin2u) +C Substitue u with 3x = 1/3(1/2*3x - 1/4sin2*3x) +C = 1/3(3x/2...
