    writing wrong student number

As someone said, there is a small piece of cardboard (it was bigger then a business card in my year) which has your name, your student number and the centre number so no need to be worried. I would be more worried about missing a number/writing it down incorrectly.

    The Woolworths Thread

I've had something similar happen with heaps of bottles being placed on the belt. I'm not against cartons due to their weight, just the awkwardness of having to pick them up and move them around and over registers, scales and bag racks. Also when I pick up a carton I usually bend down to pick it...

    Would you buy Stupid Water?

1)** When you guys go into the store what do you buy to drink? Usually Coke or sometimes other flavoured soft drink. 2)** Do you buy bottled water? Rarely - depends how I'm feeling. Buy bottled water at work (but usually I just refill the bottles). 3)** If a new bottled water product came out...

    The Woolworths Thread

Yea for me it's the awkwardness of it. I have no problems with lifting the cartons. Do it all the time for Mum (her excuse is she lifts cartons of beer at work so she shouldn't have to lift cartons of coke into the trolley at the supermarket when we go shopping)

    The Woolworths Thread

I'm lucky in that we can just slide the cartons past the scanner and onto the other side of the register. I avoid picking them up but it's not always possible. I do the same with the large containers of water. What I find worse is that when people don't put the water/heavy items on the belt...

What do you wear to work?

You have to wear a branded jumper at your Coles? We just have to wear like a black knitted jumper/cardigan/jacket. I was actually specifically told not to get the Coles jumper as I could get cheaper alternatives elsewhere.

    The Woolworths Thread

No idea who the Coles supplier is. We buy our shirts in-store - no need for ordering. The tag says 'Corporate Essentials' though. My shirts and pants get ironed although my pants can stay folded in my cupboard for days before my next shift and they won't get ironed - only after they've been...

    Help with KFC!

Are these the ONLY times you are available? I understand you would like only 8hrs (which is fine), it's just you can't exactly say 'I want 8hrs and only at these times', which is basically what you've done. You haven't given them any other option except those 8hrs. Give them your entire...

    The Coles Thread

My store accepts resumes in person. It seems every time we get one in, that person is hired... well at least that was what was happening like a year ago. Not sure where they end up but certainly does get given to the store manager/duty manager on that shift. Saw a guy hand one in the other...

Should i drop out or continue on?

In my opinion, do what you think is right. It seems to me that if I was in your situation I would drop out of school for now but return next year. It seems you need a break to sort out/overcome the problems you are facing, get professional help etc (There is honestly nothing wrong with seeing a...
