    paralegal/legal sec work

There are a few ways to do this. 1. Uni career sites are a great place to start, the jobs there are almost always intended for students. 2. Send your resume/rock up and ask at local law firms (Know quite a few who got a job this way) 3. Look in local papers 4. Knowing people who work in...

    M2/M7 or Train

Yeah but until the Mac uni train station opens you will need to get off at somewhere like epping and catch a bus. It really depends on what traffic is like, how much money you want to spend and how much time either will take you and how much time you actually have. To drive keep in mind...

Has people on the BOS ripping on UWS made you change preferences?

Ignore them most who bag it out haven't even been there. Stick with UWS once you have formed your own opinion make up your mind whether you want to stay or transfer, its that simple. Don't be swayed by others opinions especially if they know nothing about the uni and really they can't tell you...

The transcipt is something you need to order from the university you were previously at, UWS for example you can order online or from the uni and it costs $20 (i think). You go to the credit for previous study day on the 15th I believe because they need time to sort it out but were u at mac...

Is it possible to change your uni timetable?

Lectures generally are only on at one time where there may be multiple tutes, it also depends how quickly they fill up and if you can get into the ones you want. I doubt you can fit into two days. The least I've had is three and the most is four, I know others who are stuck with five. Some...

Chance of 70%+ avg in first year

I had a credit average, most were mid credits a few lows and a few highs, my worst marks were in first year. Really it depends on the person and the effort they put in. Most people find it hard, that said you have been to uni before so it might be easier for you.

    Office Junior

Its hard to find someone who wants an office junior part time/casual. Your best bets are to check the uni career websites for law clerk/paralegal positions or rock up to solicitors offices and see if they want a student. Other ppl I know got these kind of jobs by knowing people. It can be...

No, its not automatic Don't tell UTS until you get an offer, once you do accept your offer you withdraw from UTS (usually you fill out a form, pay any fees and hand in ID card) otherwise they will charge you for both lots of subjects, just make sure you do it after you are sure you have a...

    voice recorders

If you have an ipod u can get an attachment for i so it can recordt, I got mine from ebay but you can get them in the shops I think. I wouldn't though you wont have the time or be bothered to re-listen to lectures. At Mac they record them for us and most people still dont.

    When "seeing someone"

Talk to the person you're seeing, relationships mean different things to different people. For me it would be the same as dating but is often used when people are not that comfortable with saying they are b/f and g/f

What law subject do you find most interesting?

By the way lawyers have to continue legal education throughout their career to remain qualified.

'Law school applicants compete for fewer places'

The current dean at Mac seems against it and this sort of thing will lead to some uni's losing the pull they have mainly down to prestige. I think its a stupid system designed to make more money, it already takes us 5years + PLT why make it 6? our double degree program is much better
