I assume the firms know about the different GPA calculations? At Mac we seem to use some weird system where fail = 0, CP= 1, P=2, C=3 and D/HD = 4 so the highest GPA is 4 which is lower than a credit GPA using the system UWS uses or do they tell you how they want you to calculate GPA or do they...

Yes but that is an average, getting 85% in one subject is one thing but keeping all your subjects that high is another, generally I find if I do really well in one or two subjects the others are lower and that pulls the average down. I dont think as many as 2-5% get HD's, more like 1% Someone...

They usually send you enrolment information in the mail, otherwise check the website although its probably a bit early for enrolment yet.

These are both great and I used Laying Down the Law in first year. UWS uses it, not sure if anyone else does. Lawbooks is great and usually cheaper than coop as long as you order enough books and just make sure u order them early so they arrive in time.

No, you will do that at enrolment :) They usually have an advisory day to help people choose

Double degrees don't mean u do more subjects at the same time, you have the same study load as everyone else (usually 4 subjects) but over 5 years. Law is a bit difficult but as long as your English is good, you are interested in it and work hard you'll be fine.

I actually think UWS marks quite hard to try and improve its rep.
